Two girls are gossiping about a girl named Priya and suddenly Priya comes in, gazes awkwardly at the girls and falls down. They check her pulse and find her dead.
A chauffeur is driving the car of an apparently rich couple. They stop by an inn and they couple asks the chauffeur to get them something to eat.
The CID team checks the corpse of Priya. They find no wound or injection site. They rule out the possibility of poisoning. Sachin sir finds a bag with cosmetics.
When the chauffeur returns, the couple seems to be sleeping. He tries to wake them up. Failing, he carries on the journey.
ACP sir asks Sheena and Mita about the event once again and ACP sir assures that they'd find out about the murder soon enough. The boss tells that Priya had arrived 25 mins before her death and that she was late for a presentation. She had seemed lost and nervous throughout and the clients had not been impressed. The boss had told her to get back refreshed from the washroom, and then he had heard their shrieks, and when they came to the place they had found Priya dead. ACP sir asks Nikhil to send the corpse and any related item to the forensics. They get her parents' number.
The chauffeur is driving the car and the phone rings. It continues to ring till the chauffeur finally stops the car aside and picks the call. Sachin sir speaks on the other end and asks the chauffeur to come to Priya's office immediately and the latter agrees.
Abhijeet comes to the crime spot and so does the chauffeur with Mr. and Mrs Kumar. He tells the team that the couple is sleeping. ACP sir asks Abhi sir to check, and the latter finds them dead. The chauffer tells that he'd been working for 3 yrs. Sachin sir informs that there are no wounds or injection sites. Sachin sir suspects the food parcel in the car, but the chauffeur tells that they had not even touched the food. ACP sir asks him how many others were there in Mr. Kumar's family and the latter tells that it was a family of 5 with Reema who lived with her husband Dheeraj, Priya and Anu and the couple. They get the other daughters' number and try to contact them. Abhijeet calls Reema immediately to the CID bureau but Sachin reports that Anu did not pick up the call.
The team, Reema and Dheeraj come to Anu's house as she hadn't gone to college the that day. They open the lock and search for Anu all around the house. Purvi finds Anu lying unconscious and they immediately take her to the hospital.
In the forensic lab, Salunkhe sir tells that the family had been poisoned but that there were no evidence for the poison to have gone inside.Tarika tells that no poisonous gases or materials were found in the car. Sachin enters and tells them that Anu too had been poisoned and that she has been kept under observation. Salunkhe sir tells that Reema's blood had no traces of the poison. They suspect it to be a property issue
In the bureau, they inquire the couple. They strongly deny having any hand in the family's murder. The chauffeur tells that he suspected Dheeraj's hand in the murder because he'd fought with Mr. Kumar the other day, when the latter had refused to give him money. He also tells that Dheeraj was an alcoholic. There were often fights in the house and 3-4 months back there had been one between Dheeraj and Varun, Priya's husband. The chauffeur also tells that Varun had died in a car accident a week after the fight. Sachin and Pankaj suspect it to be murder. Dheerja strongly refuses to ACP sir about wanting the property all for himself.
The team and the couple meet Yashwardhan, Mr. Kumar's advocate, who tells them that if something were to happen to the daughters the property would go to a trust. But he also tells that all the property has been sold and that he'd got the documents only that morning by courier. He says it had happened all of a sudden and when he had wanted to call Mr. Kumar, he had come to know that he was dead. The advocate also tells that the signatures were not forged. Abhijeet sir suspects the family members stating that none apart from them would have been able to get his signatures without invoking suspicion. ACP sir gets a call from Dr. Salunkhe.
In the lab, the doctors tell them that the poison had been through paint. They explain further by telling that they'd found a trace of a certain chemical which was used only in paints and that the poison had killed them like a slow poison.
In the Kumar house, the chauffeur tells that 3 rooms (parents', Anu's and Priya's) were repainted a month ago. Dr. Salunkhe is off to check the 3 rooms while Dheeraj tells them that a contractor named Vipul had been given the contract for it. They find Varun's photo in the house. In the meantime, Dr. Salunkhe confirms the presence of poison the paints of the 3 rooms.
Vipul is brought to the bureau and he tells them that he'd never had taken up the contract had he known that there was poison in the paint. He also tells that he hadn't bought the paint at all and that Priya's husband Varun had bought it. When Varun had died, the work was suspended and then the chauffeur had called him to begin the work once again. He tells that he hadn't bought the paint anew but had used the paint that was bought and kept unopened in the store room. Sachin enters and tells that in the accident Varun was completely burnt to ash and that he was identified by his dental records. The police could not find evidence against the Kumar family to prove it as a murder. Sachin adds that Varun had a friend named Disha to whom he spoke for hours together and at the fatal moment also he'd been talking with her. Disha had been contacted and it was confirmed that she'd been at home at the time of the accident and had been shocked when she heard about the accident.
The duo are at Disha's house inquiring her. They tell her of their suspicion of Varun's death to be a murder. Disha tells that Varun and Priya had never gotten along well and that he'd wanted to divorce with her. She tells that she and Varun had been in love with each other and had wanted to marry. Abhijeet asks her if she suspected of Varun's being alive and hiding somewhere. She tells that she doesn't know. Shreya brings in few men's clothes from her almirah and Daya sir asks her to explain it. Disha tells that Varun sometimes came to her house and stayed without Priya's knowledge. She says that she didn't have the courage to throw it away and it felt good remembering him at times. They return the clothes and come out and Abhijeet stops short. He remembers seeing something when they had entered but not being there when they left.
They come back inside and Abhijeet tells Daya that he'd seen a tooth set there but was missin gnow. Nikhil spots an open window and when they go towards it Daya calls Abhijeet and they follow the water drop marks on the table which leads them to Varun. He confesses that he'd killed the family. He tells that he had married Priya for property but the latter had wanted to earn through hard work. He also tells that Reema and Dheeraj were continuously borrowing the money but he had gotten none. So he had planned to kill them. He tells that he had faked his own death by placing his tooth set on the corpse in the car. Abhijeet tells that want of property makes people to horrible things and delivers the phansi dialogue.
