Though the way Badi Rani berated Gayatri's father with the Khaandani Kangan I loved the irony of it. The irony which Gayatri's father didn't tell directly, but what he told indirectly. Badi Rani felt only the exclusive diamonds for the palace can be seen in palace only. And only girls bought up in palace can withstand the pressure of being a queen.
Really for correcting the Kangan you need an exquisite piece of diamond. And even when you get the diamond that doesn't directly fit into the Kangan , it has to be polished.
But first recognition of right diamond is important. For that knowledge is needed what kind of diamond you need. Badi Maa forgot the fact that most exquisite diamonds are found in mud, the diamond quarries are not in any fancy buildings , but out there in the sun. Beautiful sparks of diamond are because of the hardening that happens to the stone underground. And it is the skill of the crafts man that makes the sparkling diamond good for the kangan.
Gayatri is the unpolished diamond which Priyamvadha has recognized. And she is going to be the skilled crafts man who is gonna polish the diamond to fit the Kangan or royal family.Badi Rani or people like her need to open the eyes and start seeing the real jewels which may not be found in the confines of palace.
