Sometimes I feel if he doesn hate RB his life's maksad will not be fulfilled. I think more than the culture, language, status contrast he does this because II has a special place in his life. Even if II had married Sree, appa would have still tried to drive II's life of course in a more subtle manner and it would have worked because Sree wouldn't have resisted it so much.
