Let's take a look at these two beautiful people who are going to embark on this journey of love, and experience this precious emotion in all it's glory. Their journey is about to begin but it is assured that it would be a beautiful one because there is nothing more beautiful and powerful than love.
Mohit Sehgal as Somendra: Can love happen to a rich spoiled brat who is least interested in studies and more interested in wasting his time wandering around doing nothing productive. Someone who just believes in having fun and isn't responsible enough to care or think of his future. He dresses in outrageously loud and garish outfits, speaks in a heavy UP accent and his English speaking skills are almost equal to non existent. And to top it off he is constantly failing in his studies and is still stuck in 12th grade. Hmmm after reading all this one would think he is quite hopeless, who would love him? But before you judge him look at the other side of the picture as well. Because appearances can be deceptive. Because beyond all that is a guy with a golden heart. Someone who cares for people around him whether it's his family members, class fellows, school staff, his roommate or his beloved teacher ji. Someone who can protect the women around him with his life. Who is not afraid to fight for what he wants and will stand by it till the end. Who would never let you go and will help you even when you haven't asked for it. He is a smooth talker and can talk his way through any situation also he is smart enough to deal with any situation with ease. He will make you laugh when you're down and would also come up with impromptu poems to lift your spirits. That is Somendra for you tough and rowdy on the outside but soft and caring on the inside. And as they say love can change people for the better. So will Somendra's love for Sarojini will bring a positive change in him is something that has to be discovered yet. I'd say anything is possible with love as it's the closest thing we have got to magic.
Shiny Doshi as Sarojini: Sarojini is a beautiful, well educated, independent and level headed girl. She is modern believes in working hard and earning a livelihood for herself but at the same time has her values and morales intact. She lives with her uncle and aunt and really respects her family even the aunt who never loved her but is using her instead for her personal gains. But her sense of gratitude and responsibility stops her from going against her aunt. However she shares a special bond with her little nephew.
Sarojini is a girl with a strong moral compass she stands for the right and always speaks against wrong but still manages to be polite at the same time. Her levelheadedness and maturity makes her more practical than impulsive. She is a teacher and wants to impart education within the young minds and change them into better and more responsible human beings. She wants to do her bit to bring a positive change in her society and feels her responsibility towards it. But at the same time she dreams of a mate who would support her and encourage her to go ahead in her career. Someone she could lean and depend upon, her source of strength at times of need. Someone who could love her unconditionally and trust her completely. And protect and stand up for her everytime. She won't settle for less than this. So will she find her perfect dream guy and be able to recognize him when she does? Does her love have the ability to turn the frog to the prince is yet to be seen.
As we can see Sarojini and Somendra (Somini) are as different as chalk and cheese, but as they say opposites attract they might be completely different but they fit together perfectly and will complete each other like missing jigsaw pieces. They're yet to discover and experience that love with each other. But once they do that will be a life changing experience for them. With both emerging as stronger and better individuals and a beautiful couple together.
