Love after marriage
It was a beautiful day in Singhania mansion where the singhania's and shekhawats have become relatives. One thing none of them noticed is the bride groom is not happy with this marriage.
It was their first night in their new house and as usual taani went into their bedroom with lots of dreams and hopes in their married life. Little she knew that her hopes will be shattered into pieces.
Rey held her hand and dragged her with him roughly to the room which is next to his.
R: this will be your room from today and you are not going to enter in my room nor my life. I swear you can guess the consequences.
He spoke to her in his venom dripping voice and left from that room and went into his room. She wept for rest of the night and fell asleep when she was tired of crying.
The next morning, Taani was early at the breakfast table where everyone were waiting for them. Rey also approached them after a few minutes and everyone left their home blessing the newly married couple.
RM: Taani, Rey kuch zyada hi gusse wala hai. Beta... dont ever leave him or dont take any decisions in anger or stress. Please tum thoda adjust karo. Wo naraz hai ki humne uski shaadi ki hai kyuki usko life me bhot saare plans they, to pursue MBA and set up his own buisiness. Main jaanti hu mushkil hoga, but kamse kam mere liye uska saath mat chodo.
T: main unhe kabhi nahi chodungi ma...
RM: ab hum chaltey hai beta. Apna khayal rakho.
T: ji...
Soon every one left and both were only left in the house.
Rey saw taani going into her room, he looked at her until she disappeared into her room and left to office informing kaka.
That evening rey reached home and saw kaka working in the kitchen. He then peeped into her room and found that she was not there. His heart picked up, he searched his bedroom and then the balcony, washrooms and finally reaching the terrace. She was watering the plants and was plucking out the dry leaves. He exhaled and went to his room, freshened up, changed and sat to do his work on his laptop. Taani then came to her room and after sometime she went to the kitchen to make some green tea for herself.
Taani went into her room and had her tea and got busy in a novel. Kaka called Rey for dinner and Taani said she will have her dinner later.
Rey while having dinner was constantly glancing at her bedroom as if to just have one glance of her. But his luck was not with him, may be the wave of responsibility of being a husband is stirring his heart.
After his dinner he went to his room glancing at her randomly but he only could see her face was covered with a book.
He sat on his bed and slowly started to take deep breaths in and out as he was feeling as if his chest got tightened.
He took his quilt and pulled it up on himself. He slowly slipped into deep slumber.

A beautiful girl was standing in a transparent white saree looking like a goddess staring at him with longingness and sadness in her eyes. Those eyes were holding pain and hope of acceptance in her eyes, slowly she started to walk backwards and backwards, his heart leapt at once when she fell off the cliff.

He sprang up on his bed sweating profusely. Taani...
He slowly went to her door and peeped finding her asleep coiled to herself. He stood there for a while gazing at her and went back to his room.
Next morning
It was as usual the same as previous day. Rey got down the stairs and searched for her but she was not there. To be honest, his nightmare left a very strong effect on him. He ate his breakfast quietly but he was missing her.
R: kaka... taani kaha hai?
K: saab, taani bitiya taiyyar toh ho gayi par neeche nahi aayi abhi...
Rey was looking at her bedroom door. Their hearts were pulling towards each other but they are not able to see each other because of his hatred towards her.
Hatred?
After Rey left to office, taani had her breakfast and went upstairs. She was keeping herself busy with books.
Rey returned home from office in afternoon as his meeting was done and he was having headache. Soon after an hour, he has got fever. He slept and started to cough so strongly and frequently in his sleep.
Taani rushed to his room but was standing at the door as she was not supposed to enter the bedroom. Her eyes held pain and worry but she dint utter a word till date from their marriage.
He opened his eyes and sat on the bed coughing more vigorously. They both saw each other and they had a small eyelock which was broke by taani. She went to her room and took a bottle of cough syrup and a couple of tablets. Kaka came upstairs and taani gave him the medicines to give to rey. Kaka gave rey a couple of bread slices followed by medicines. Taani was still standing at the door and tears welled up in her eyes. Rey was noticing her moves, soon she went from there also. Rey only want to hold her hand and sleep, he has a terrible feeling of lonliness. Kaka told him to take rest and he laid down. Taani was sobbing in her room over her fate, over everything. She never wanted the marriage to turn out like this but she was rejected as his wife.
Taani sat near her window lost in her thoughts when Rey came into her room; it was 1:30AM. Taani fell asleep at the window pane when Rey tucked a hairstrand behind her ear. She opened her eyes, gasped and pushed herself backwards scared of his sudden close presence.
Rey lowered her gaze and taani was looking at his tired face.
R: ummm... can i sleep here with you? Please?
T: Ummm... its your house, your wish.
Rey looked into her eyes, there was a lot of pain in them.
He went to left side of bed and pulled up the quilt and she went and slept on the right side.
How he wanted her, he is not able to reject her as his wife. He is not able to ignore her, hurt her or leave her. He is thriving for just one glance from her, one soft touch from her soft palms, just one embrace and everything will be fine.
Next morning
It was 11 and both of them woke up slowly at one squinting their eyes. Taani suddenly lowered her lashes and got up. She sat on the bed and closed her eyes folding her hands praying to god. She was still tired of last night, she slowly took her towel and went into the washroom. His eyes followed her and he also woke up and sat on the bed. Her fragrance was helping him to be peaceful and calm, he took her pillow and hugged it to his heart and slept.
Taani came out in her churidhaar and sat at the dressing table, she dried her hair and applied kajal, lip balm and bindi. She wore her mangalsutra and was applying sindoor in her hair parting when a tear escaped her eye. She quickly wiped it but rey already saw it and it broke him. He felt like a direct blow on his heart which cracked it and it bleeded, his eyes welled up. She wore her bangles and her earrings and got up from the dressing table wiping another tear. She took her novel and started to read it, it has become her daily routine now as she is just in her life only her life.
He got up feeling exhausted and stretched his muscles, he peeped at Taani but she was busy in her novel. He got up and headed to his room, even room mates are not so strangers. He went to his shower and turned on, he was struggling to focus. He loves her. He is in love. He needs to heal a shattered heart but he himself dont have guts to face her.
He came out of his shower whose eyes are blood red and he dressed up heading downstairs for his breakfast. He suddenly stopped in his tracks and headed to her room, she was lost in her thoughts looking out of the window. He knocked the door but there was no reply, he went to her and called her but no reply; he sat on his knees beside her, his eyes glassed up. He gently touched her arm and she sprang up in fear.
T: ji??
R: tum kuch khayi?
T: nahi...
R: kyu?
T: its nearly 12... lunch time ho raha hai.
R: ok. He got up from the place and was going to his room.
T: suniye...
Rey turned around.
T: wo mere bank account ka number papa bhool gaye. Toh aapke account pe mere kuch paise bhej diye. Kya aap mere account me transfer kar saqte hai please?
R: sure. But paise?
T: mujhe har saal mother teresa's orphanage ko donate karne ki aadat hai. I quit my job because of my marriage, isiliye papa bheje mujhe.
R: but why? I mean why to take it from dad? Tum mujhse kyu nahi...?
He stopped in his flow because he knows why she did not ask him? He looked into her eyes.
T: how can I take your money?
Some people are so important in your life that if you hurt them, you will regret it lifelong.
His eyes started to leak.
T: I am sorry. She said timidly.
I dint mean to hurt you.
I am really sorry.
He knows that is breaking him further because she is apologising.
Rey rushed into her and grabbed her tiny frame inside him. He was holding her like she is his. His life depends on her, he silently cried holding her. To be honest, he was feeling good crying in her embrace; he has to admit that she is his soulmate throught his life. The husband in him started to whimper for his wife, for his soulmate.
He then slowly started to relax in her arms, it was so blissful to be there.
He broke the hug and rested his forehead on hers. She gently brought her trembling hand upto his cheek to wipe his tears. She was still scared.
He held her hand firm on his cheek, he so craved for her. He kissed her palm and brought her closer to him by her waist.
She stiffened in his arms, everything is so new for her right now; she is not able to understand the sudden change in him.
R: I Love You.
T: Sach??
R: Taani, I am yours; only you have the right in my life. Please aajao na... you loved me as your husband but i rejected you as my wife. Bhot tadpaya tumhe aur tadpa bhi maine.
Mera dil nafrat se thak gaya Bas mujhe apna lo.
I love you
I love you so much.
Tears again streamed down his eyes.
T: Aap aisa mat bolo... please.
Main apse naraz nahi hu. Please.
She hugged him innocently around his torso.
He kissed her head and she felt finally her life has some meaning. Her marriage is finally working.
And they lived happily ever after.
