Agreed the episode just ok.Loved the Nahid-Nityashree version. Other versions were not that good.
Eliminating 2 contestants nullified last week's veto verdict. Then what was the use of exercising it, if it was going to be trashed the very next week? 🤪
Why can't Vishal and Salim give constructive criticism instead of going ga-ga over the kids? (Sonakshi is doing yet another flowerpot role, albeit in a reality show on television, so don't count her as a judge.) Some criticism from the judges will be far better than the excessive sugary praises. At least the kids will not be jolted harshly out of their 'you're-the-best-thing-ever-to-happen-to-this-show-and-us' cocoon. They will have an understanding of their strengths and what they need to work on.
Why is Ranita such a fave? Did her performer of the week award have anything to with her being successful in getting a jingle job while participating in the show? Because I honestly didn't find her singing outstanding.
How come Vaishnav was given a makeover but Moti is given none? Or is it a deliberate ploy? With Ajay eliminated, now only 2 boys are left among the girls, with contrasting looks. Personally, I find Vaishnav's voice shrill, so much so that he can easily give playback for a heroine. It'll take a few years for his voice to mature. But the judges keep praising him to the skies.
I wish they'd show the judges' scoring so that we as an audience can understand the judging criteria. Like did Srilakshmi's mispronunciations led to her losing crucial points or did Ajay's forgetting a line lost him his place on the show?
The judges and the hosts seemed callous about the eliminations. Then, there were no qualms about the kids getting upset thru the verdict. Was it a pre-planned elimination and therefore no sadness required?
Another sore point, why an entire episode dedicated to Kishore Kumar shardhanjali, but just 2-minute-and-2-line hodgepodge medley for Md. Rafi? Both were equally great singers. Rafi's tribute seemed more like an afterthought, shoddily tacked at the fag end. All-in-all, an okay episode with a big shocker at the end.
