I enjoyed the epi yesterday for the interaction between Abeer's mom and Meher. Here in TV shows we see MILs who have utter disregard to their DILs who are slogging like slaves for their family and breaking the custom in BD you see a MIL who still has the same love and warmth for her ex-DIL.
I loved the way she dealt with Meher. Not allowing her to touch feet in public respecting her position in the company and I loved the way Meher showed her respect when they were in the cabin. She is still " Maa" for Meher and Meher is still " daugher " for her. I could see the pride in Abeer's mom's eyes when she sees the board Meher Purohit. I also loved how she pours out her heart to Meher. It is as if she was not sitting in front of her ex-DIL but her long lost friend, who can help solve her problem. Or rather together they can light up Abeer's life.
It was fresh, it was beautiful to see such a soul connection between a MIL and DIL. Instead of waging war against each other on who will hold the power on the man of the house coming together so that they both can play the important roles of mother and wife in a man's life. Hats of BD CVs for such a wonderful scene.
