Ok I regret watching the beginning of this act 🤢 The level of comedy has stooped too low for anyone to watch. How in the world is this even funny?? This is plain disgusting! 😡 Shahid and Manish have potential; I don't understand why they are doing this! As if talking about bum and other innuendos wasn't enough, they talk directly about shit and toilet Many people think that Piku has opened this up. But I don't agree. In Piku, it seemed realistic and was executed nicely..way better than here in JDJ. There are actually people like Bhashkor of Piku in real world. But Jhalak just made something randomly!
So, Radhika was the first one to perform today. To be honest, I didn't like her act, no offence to anyone. It was messy in many places and it was evident. It seemed as if they were having trouble with the harness. Except for the ending twirling part and the walking on her choreo while being on harness, I didn't think it was a good performance. I agree with Lauren's comments but not scores for Radhika. She was right about how Radhika lost her character essence in the act but then she gave her an 8. She didn't say anything that was nice about the act, so I was a bit confused.
Ok, now Mohit was outstanding! What a performance! I really enjoyed it. It was so intriguing! I didn't look anywhere else because it didn't let me. The prop was, as Karan said, really tricky to manage. I was so surprised when they took their positions and the thing went over them! Wow! I loved their dance. And Addie's expressions..aww! She must be so proud of him. Lauren again...why?? She said she was totally impressed by the act and she gave him a 9...I don't get it!
Coming to Scarlett...I was kind of disappointed today. I loved her performance last week. Today's performance was not really following the theme. She was on that rotating thing only for a short amount of time. But it was supposed to be a motion themed act. The neck lift was simply wow! Her expressions and lip sync..I loved them. There were a few messy places in the act...like some parts of the khatiya part. You might call me repetitive but Lauren is pushing me too far! 10, seriously? She did not give Mohit (who followed the theme and gave a fabulous performance) 10 but gave Scarlett a 10?? Wow! Wasn't Scarlett the one who said Lauren is her inspiration? Oh...ok...Plus Lauren did not talk about her dance or anything. She was just like "I couldn't take my eyes off you...you are a desi girl"...W*F??!!
Ashish was, according to me, considerably better compared to his previous acts. I loved his new choreo partner, Falon. She seems like a bundle of energy. True, the motion theme wasn't followed properly but the ending was superb. The understanding between the two is really commendable. Ashish started the facade and Falon ended it. Loved the timing. I think 31 was ok for him even though I would have been happier if he got 32.
Vivian, like everyone I was also pleasantly surprised. How did he do that?? I cannot even imagine how hard it must be for him to learn how to balance, dance on it and then perform it on stage with his expressions and lip syncing intact! He was really good! Loved how Bhavna and Vivian supported each other. The only little flaw was the lack of timing of timing during the tutting portion. But I think his courage and determination overpowered that. I don't know why he got 38. He should have gotten 39 yaar!
So, overall I liked the acts. My problem is Shahid and Lauren. They are not consistent and fair in their judgement. Especially Lauren seems to be confused on what to comment and what score to give. I hope she mends her ways, which honestly I don't think will happen. Karan is fair and he knows his expectations and what to look for in the acts. I think Ganesh is also the same. Plus, Ganesh gives suggestions to the dancers which is very thoughtful and nice of him.
I apologize if anyone was hurt because of me. It is just what I think...😃
