Mohit's Intouchables remake indefinitely postponed?

After Hamari Adhuri Kahani, the filmmaker's next for Karan Johar is said to be put on hold

Last year, Karan Johar announced that he was co-producing the remake of a French Film, The Intouchables with Guneet Monga. He had signed on Mohit Suri to direct the film and there were reports that Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra were in the running to play protagonists, but now, it is learnt that the film has been indefinitely postponed.

Our source reveals, "Mohit had a good track record with Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain and was heavily banking on Hamari Adhuri Kahani to work at the box-office. However, the film fared poorly. It was a poor script and a shoddily made film. Following that, Karan has decided to put the film on the backburner for the time being. He might revisit the film later."

I was looking forward to this film liked the original and the desi casting was so good !

KJO is business man, he only wanted to work with Mohit because of Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain now that HAK failed then KJO don't want to work with him.

this is for those that said KJO wud change the cast of ADHM after BV flopped...well he hasnt...which means he sticking to his vision n going with the actors he originally cast

As for Mohit suri...it's not a big deal if KJo has dumped him...he still has the bhatts...i guess the pampering n love is only for Alia n not her extended family members😆

Mohit didn't give his best to Hamari Adhuri Kahani

He was high on life or just not serious with what he was doing. Fine you aren't serious about your own career as a director, but at least don't waste talent.

He didn't dump Shakun Batra after his last flop. He's not dumping Rambir and Anushka after BV. He hasn't dumped Nikhil Advani after all of his flops. If Intouchables is on hold it's for other reasons besides HAK flopping.

This might just be a rumor because of all the other news of Mohit working on HG right now, which in of itself isn't confirmed.
