What the hell is Parth's past exactly?
I have a couple of theories and I'm dying to find what the truth is.
Wicked Games is one such assumption of what happens when Vidushi finds out the truth.
Semi Dark for a reason.
lower case intended.
Game Over.
"warn kiya tha maine."
his voice is ragged, harsh and almost vindicated
"ek nahi hajaar bar."
he looks down, and then back up, right into her wide open eyes.
"kitni baar samjhaun main? aur haar baar tum jaan bujh ke.." he stopped there, forcing himself to take in another deep breath.
she knew now.
she knew everything.
this was not the way he ever wanted this to unfold.
he'd rather have his past stay in the past and begin a new future, fresh and unblemished.
but now it's not possible is it?
she knows.
its not possible to undo that.
no more than it is possible to undo his past.
he took in another breath and stepped forward.
her wide eyes seemed larger and her eyebrows shot up.
he thought she'd hate him.
but no, she was scared.
terrified.
horrified was more like it.
he could see the accusation in her eyes, the unhooded questions.
how could you lie to me, all this time.
all this time you let me think you were the cure when all you were was a poison dealier than anyother.
her body did all the talking.
her frantic eyes, shaking form and sniffling told him everything her lips couldn't.
how could they?
his finger was on them, tracing their pattern, feeling their texture.
"don't worry. i'm not going to hurt you." his words sounded oddly hollow to his own ears.
'yeah right' she was mocking him with her narrowed eyes.
"what is pleasure without pain sweetheart?" his thumb stroked her lower lip.
she shook her head, all her arrogance and sass dripping off her and onto the wooden floor she was sitting on.
"i told you, ever since you angered me the first time. I told you to stay away. you had a choice. you've made your bed. now lie in it." he pulled her off the floor, ignoring the scared gasp she let out.
her back hit the matress, soft and inviting.
a stark contrast to the man in front of her.
he was harsh, hard and unrelenting.
"had you stayed away from that creep like I'd told you to i wouldn't have to do this. i wouldn't have to become this monster." his hands were on the either side of her face, his body over her.
"i told you. but you never listen. you never did. not when i told you to stay away from me. not when i told you to stay away from varun. not when i told you to stay away from namit" he spat the accursed name out, the anger in his words echoing around the room and in the confines of his skull.
she didn't speak.
she was learning words were a two edged knife.
and if she cut him he could do so much worse.
"had you listened to me then maybe i'd have let you do as you wanted. i'd have let you move on with anyother decent man you choose. i'd have let you live your own life." parth rolled her over to her side. "but no. you never listen. you made me do this, made me go back to this dirty life. and you made me take you with me."
"i wanted this to stay in the past, a bad memory. where it belongs." parth pushed up her top to expose her skin.
"but you insist on screwing up everything!" he growled, tracing an 'X' on her waist.
"i..." she bit her lip, swallowed her words.
"that's right. you'll shut up and take it. all of it." Parth's hand was cupping her neck.
she knew he could break it in a matter of seconds.
he knew the human body and it's weak points.
he knew which place to hit to knock someone, to paralyse some one.
and to kill someone.
kill
she shuddered.
"vidushi. you know perfectly well that if you leave, or even try to you'll have to pay the price." Parth's fingers were tracing the 'X' again, over and over on the same patch of skin.
"i'd normally have to brand you as mine but you already did that and saved yourself the pain" the hand cupping her neck moved to cup the place where the tattoo was etched.
"i knew it would catch up with me, it's like a shadow you know, it never truely leaves you" the fingers tracing the 'X' moved slower, so that his finger tips were almost tickling her.
"when rana came to fite i knew it won't be long. i pushed you away, tried to keep you out of this. even got closer to that camera girl whose name so convieniently was a name from the past. my past that i hoped would never taint you."
cold metal pressed against her bare skin. right at the spot where he had traced the X.
X marks the spot.
"i saw you shoot. so scared. so desperate. and so relieved when the bullet found it's mark." parth dragged the tip of the gun over her skin, tracing the X lazily
she shuddered, and a whimper escaped her lips.
"and then your fright. god you were so disgusted at what you'd done." he scoffed. "it was the right thing to do and yet you were so guilt ridden and ashamed of yourself."
"you weren't the only one that killed a man that night. I did too. and it frightened me but not in the same way. I liked killing that man vidushi." he pressed the gun harder into her side.
she gasped and lay stock still.
"when rana died, i thought it was over. thought we could go on. but then your dreams. and your tears. my past was everything that made you shake in fright. how could i let you be a part of it. now that i'd killed and liked it again?" parth turned her onto her stomach.
he didn't want to see her eyes. the pain and fear in them.
"so i tried to push you away. but i couldn't. because you never stopped chasing me. chanted i love you so many times that i couldn't imagine not hearing those anymore. so i decided i'd give us another shot." Parth pushed her hair to the side.
to see his name on her neck was a cold comfort.
"but then, you were so ready to leave when fite was closing. you had it in your eyes. a bright future. without me. i tried to not let you go. tore up your forms. held you back. yelled at you." he exhaled. " I wanted you to leave and I wanted you to stay. you tore me apart and so i did the same."
He ran the gun down the length of her spine and smirked.
"you are such a flirt when you get drunk vidu." he exhaled " it was so satisfying to pull you away from that random guy the night fite was saved. dancing with you...making you move...i liked it. i liked it more than i liked putting a bullet through that goon's chest."
"i couldn't sleep that night. thoughts of you and what i'd do to you.." he stopped. "so i had to let you go. i pushed you away again."
he pressed the gun to her tattoo.
"but you. you'd contaminated me. the harder i tried to push the closer i ended up coming. then that crazy ranaway came. and he set us up on the stupid task that broke your arm." Parth ran his free hand over her now healed arm. "I'd have killed him for you. broken each and every bone in his sick drunk body." he grunted. "you made me go back there. so you had to go."
she felt him press the gun to her lower back.
"so i tried to hurt you. in all ways i could. so you'd hate me. move away." he flipped her over to face him.
her eyes were hurt.
"i'd never hurt you." he consoled her. "but you flinched and stayed away when i threatened to. I could see the fear in your eyes."
"it was going well. you'd have moved on. been happy. but then came Namit. to ruin everything."
Parth threw the gun on the side table.
"I saw him dance with you and i couldn't take it." he clutched at her waist, making her hiss in pain.
"why should he get to touch you? when i couldn't? he was as bad as me if not worse. so I told you to stay away. but you didn't. you let him put his hands on you. you let him teach you basketball and bring his nose to your neck. I'd have broken his nose and handed it to him."
"you frustrated me. i had to tell you why you had to stay away. from me. from him." Parth ran his finger over her collarbone.
"but i didn't want you to hate me. i didn't. not anymore. "he shook his head.
"so i told you. as calmly as i could. you don't know how hard it was for " he sighed
"and then you ran." Parth grimaced. "like i was a monster. not the man you loved. i saw the love in your eyes change to fear. you should have stabbed me. it would have hurt less then the look you gave me."
Vidushi shook her head.
"you'd never hurt me would you?" parth smirked. "you'd never tell anyone."
she nodded frantically.
"but you know i can't let you go." parth picked up the gun again.
"i...i...i'll do anything..." her lips trembled.
"tell me my past doesn't matter." he loaded the gun.
"please Parth...your past doesn't matter. don't do this." Vidushi's hands clutched at his shirt.
"not convincing enough." he pressed the gun under her chin.
tears were rolling down her cheeks.
she was intoxicating, the mouthy sassy bitch reduced to a quivering mess.
he hated having her cry, hated the sick pleasure he got from her whimpers.
and he loved her.
"i...i'll do as you say parth. please put the gun down." she whimpered. "i'll leave. "
"no. you will stay. with me." parth pulled her into a sitting position.
"i'll stay." she repeated.
"because of this isn't it?" Parth unloaded the gun.
"no. because i can't...i can't let you go." she sighed. "it terrified me. scared me. i've already been hurt by people i loved, but none of them are..." she shuddered.
"part of a criminal family?" Parth narrowed his eyes.
"none of them are you" she gulped. "you may have that past..but you always try to be a better man." she was trying to convince herself more than him.
"and?" he raised an eyebrow.
"i love you. it doesn't matter what you did. you were trying to protect me. in your own way" she put a hand to his cheek, feeling the stubble graze her palm. "if you think you are twisted then what does that make me?" she smiled weakly.
"mine. it makes you mine." Parth pressed his lips to hers.
she responded hesitantly and then her passion and fervor matched hers
he threw the gun against the wall "i'm done with this. for real."
she smiled. "are you done with being the moral bull too?"
he groaned "moral bull."
she hesitated, her lip quivering.
" speak up then" Parth pulled her closer.
"are you done being the biggest hypocrite and accept that you can't be perfect?" she looked down at their feet.
"hmmm...what if i'm not?" Parth nuzzled her neck.
she stiffened for a minute and then relaxed again.
"then that would make me the liar's wife." she looked into his eyes.
------------------------------------
wife.
yes he had drugged and carried her out of fite and into his family home.
when she'd come to he'd had a gun pointed at her and it'd stayed that way till the vows were said and they were one.
"I intend on ending this game once and for all. next time you don't get to ask me who i am." he'd put the red sindoor in her maang.
she'd cried, ruined her makeup and then let him vent.
And now she was in his arms.
'you did this to yourself.'
--------------------------------------------
"Vidushi Kashyup." he pulled the sleeve off her right shoulder. "let me show you the ways i love you.
he loved her.
enough to wait till she nodded her head in approval.
his lips and his tongue wiped away the hurt his words had wrecked on her.
she knew he was more than a hurt man, there was a deep dark sorrow he hid.
she wanted to know him.
ease his pain. show him he was worthy of love.
"you can't leave." he moaned. "you are my prisoner now."
His heart was a luxurious prison and she was in for life.
"then i'm lucky my captor is so hot, hard and passionate." she fingered the love bite on her neck.
bite.kiss. lick.
moan.groan.scream
he'd ripped her apart and sewn her back together.
"don't fool me. you'd still run if you had the chance. have a normal life." parth grunted bitterly.
"i want us to have a normal life. and we will. no one has to know." she kissed his chest.
"hmm..or they'll think i'm holding you against your will. forcing you." Parth blew on her neck.
she giggled. "it was hot though."
he frowned. " you found being married at gunpoint hot?"
"only because it was you. if someone else had tried that they'd be shitting bullets for a month." she frowned.
Parth burst into a deep laugh. "you really are something special Vidushi. I thought you'd put up more of a fight. not allow me to touch you for days. I thought you'd resent me for taking you like this and winning the game. I thought you'd resent me claiming you like a prize."
"Oh Parth." she rubbed herself into him. "you thought you won?" she giggled " you think i'm the prize you've claimed?" she licked at his neck. " you won because I let you win. because I wanted you to take me and make me yours. Game over baby. you are mine.forever"
Parth felt her teeth rake his skin.
pulling her head back by her hair he growled " so all this time, you knew? you let me think i'd lose you forever? you played me?"
"i let you play. i let you win. you are my prize." she smirked.
"we do belong together witch." he kissed her harshly "you are not as innocent as you make yourself look."
she pushed him away. " neither are you." her nails digging into his shoulders.
he threw her back onto the mattress.
"we are going to have so much fun together." she winked.
"minx."
"thug"
"bitch"
"jerk."
"witch"
"monster."
"but I'm your monster." he interwined her fingers with his.
"and I'm yours." she was on top of him.
"now, you will pay for all the times you've pushed me away. you'll beg me." she had an evil glint in her eyes.
"no, you'll beg." Parth smirked.
"game on, husband" her fingers found the waist band of his boxers.
"game over, wifey" he slapped her hands away and pressed her between himself and the mattress.
she moaned as he carried out his threat, made her scream his name.
"rematch." she panted.
"sore loser " he kissed her nose.
"touche" she giggled.
She was his.
He was hers.
And whoever tried to come between them
would be death's own.
(I didn't intend for this to turn so fluffy in the end. Parth was supposed to storm out of the room leaving his newly wedded wife tied up and sobbing. And then he'd return with Namit's blood on his shirt. Tell Vidushi Namit won't come between them anymore. And then slowly kiss her tears away. Maybe I'd write a spinoff oneday.)
