Munni the trps did rise because of laboni factor and a new avatar of begumsa which was refreshing change from same old half baked avatar and as far as acting is concerned i still give rajat brownie points over her as she never lets me forget in her scenes with rajat that she is someone else's wife and not Akbar's jodha. ..which clearly indicates her short comings as an actress and she is not suitable for main role only for character roles!

for me there was nothing refreshing. It was all crap. But yes on tv mostly craps nd weird things sells. So no surprises. as far begumsa's new avtar trp audience watched it for the drama nd not for the so called avatar. Afterall people love to dramas rather than reality. these chudail nd ghosts tracks always works so nothing official about it. Rajat doesn't needs brownie points over her bcoz she is an average actress. Unfortunately real talent goes unnoticed on tv nd average people rule.

Friends - Too much work - Travelling to UK for 4 months for work in first week of Aug - Domestic chores are weighing down as well.

Frankly speaking , there is no comparison btw Begumsa and RT - RT is like Kamal Hassan and Begum is like Shruti Hassan in terms of talent comparison.

Even y'day I saw Rajat talking to Salim scene - There was still some sanity in RT's acting in spite of the nonsense script. The Akbar we see on screen is still in his mind and not just body language or dialogue recital. that's why the performance can be endured - Any other average actor show would have been buried.

Look at the way he said takliya to devi ma - Keeping his hands down and showing the door - He showed pain, helplessness and anxiety.

PS is far below average in terms of craft.

munni and jaya i agree that ps is an average actress and RT lives the character, therefore no comparison, and i also agree that trp janta likes ott drama which makes them stay at the edge of their seats and they are keen to watch the next episode..although JA has lost its charm long time ago but i know most of us would not agree but majority people like to watch akhda/parijat and if you guys remember the trps started to increase when they both got married as their chemistry clicked with the viewers like fire...i know ps's distance issues irks us but majority janta is unaffected by it as they do not know what is going on off screen plus they are either old or middle age and they want to watch clean romance...ps's mediocre acting gets covered by her beauty and majority janta ignores her minor flaws... on the other hand they have high expectations from RT in terms of performance, anytime he doesn't do justice he gets noticed ..but all in all majority janta likes both the actors but the female actress always takes the center stage in EK's shows and that is what trp janta enjoys..now instead of strong jodha in MEA track they will show abla bipta bhari kamzor maa/naari which will create sympathy and audiences will cry buckets with her..but shows like chokher bali/siyaasat will flop in spite of A class treatment as they are too advanced and perfect for majority janta and lack ott drama😉

This is the main thing.

She is good in BHABHI roles, where only a plastic smile has to be given to in-laws. She will be PERFECT.😆

i agree jaya, i just want to see rajat in a big budgeted movie where his talent is not hindered by female dominated script!
