In a bizarre case, Ranbir meets Vinay who has come to seek Ranbir's help as he discovered a diary in which the written word comes true. This diary belongs to Vinay's ex - lover Shyla who committed suicide. Shyla and Vinay were in love with each other but Shyla never got along with his daughter Jeeya. Vinay had always made it clear to her that Jeeya was his priority and only if she agreed he would marry her. Vinay realises her twisted behaviour and seeks his journo friend's help by getting an article printed in the press that he has severed all ties with Shyla. This provokes here to commit suicide and she spells Vinay's doom at Namita's hands. Ranbir decides to visit Shyla's house and meets Shyla's ghost. Ranbir is shocked when he learns that Shyla had written that Ranbir would die at Kinnari's hands. Ranbir realises the serious implications. Ranbir succeeds in stopping Shyla thus saving Vinay, Jeeya and Kinnari with the help of Savio.
