Sleeping beauty Part 10

Nandini was helpless.She did not know how to defend herself.She was very upset.
RK continued,"Purposefully she invited me for her birthday party.She made my way to Madhu's heart easily".
Madhu stared at Nandini.
"Nandini...my best friend cheated me.Cheating!
"Madhu!I did it for your happiness.I knew that you love RK".
"You acted very well.Now also you are acting".
"No Madhu.Believe me".
Nandini's eyes welled up with tears.


RK continued,"Later i made her believe that Sameera was my ex-wife and Vipin was her boy friend"
Sameera and Vipin chuckled.
Vipin said,"Actually we are already married and it's been 3 years".
Suddenly Madhu raised her voice,"Mr.Rishab Kundra!"
Everyone looked at Madhu with a shock.
RK's heart beat fast due to tension.
Dadimaa came out of her room.
"How could you cheat me like this?"Madhu asked.
"Madhu..i love you very much and i did this to win your heart".
"Ok..but you could atleast say the truth to me.Instead of that you cooked up a lot of stories.Why did you bring up Sameera and Vipin into the picture and made fool out of me?I can't forgive you for that.You are fake RK".
Madhu's sharp words wounded RK's heart.
"No Madhu".
Dadimaa became very upset.
"Madhu beta..believe RK's love.He loves you a lot.He did'nt try to cheat you purposefully".
"Stop it.I respected your age.I considered you as my own grand mother.But you.. instead of correcting your grand son you supported him.What kind of a lady you are?"
Dadimaa was deeply hurt.Her tears flowed down.
RK lost his control,"Madhu!You can't talk like this to my dadimaa".
"Stop it.I hate fake people".
She cried.She was fully shattered.
"Why did you cheat me RK?"
RK had no answer.
Madhu went out.Nandini followed her.Dadimaa was very upset.
Dadimaa told RK,"Don't be late RK.You try to convince her.You should not lose Madhu".

Suddenly they heard Nandini's voice,"Madhu!"
They ran out.
Nandini was crying.Madhu is lying unconscious on her lap.
"Madhu fainted".
They were shocked.
RK rain towards them,"Madhu!"
He embraced her.He wept.
"What should not have happened has happened".

Madhu got admitted to the hospital.
Kavya cried.He rests his head on Anjali's shoulder.
"I told you Anjali..having a relationship with RK is not good for Madhu".
Anjali felt sad.
RK looked at them with pain.
"You are misunderstanding me.I have not done anything.Madhu realized that Sameera was not my wife..and Nandini has helped me a lot".
"You may not have done anything with a bad intention.But your deeds are having negative effect on my sister".
RK felt sad.
"Oh God!"
Kavya continued,"RK..you may not be wrong.But Madhu's relationship with you and your family destroys her.So please leave her alone.Please let her live peacefully.Please go away from her life.I beg you".
RK could not bear that pain.He has to be away from Madhu.That was the only thing which he could not imagine.Buthe left the hospital with tears.His heart cried:
'Zindagi mein koi kabhi aaye na rabba
Aaye jo koi to phir jaye na rabba
Dene ho agar mujhe baad mein aansoon
Toh pehele koyi hasaaye na rabba..'{Musafir}.

RK could not concentrate on his office work.
"My God!Madhu has not regained her consciousness.While she is in the hospital also I'm forced to work here".
Bittu entered his room.
"RK Sir!"
"Yes Bittu!"
"You look disturbed".
RK tried to hide his pain.
"RK Sir..I am not just an employee.Right?You have always treated me as your close friend.Though i have not been working here for a long time there is a strong bond between us i believe"
"Yes no doubt Bittu".
"Ever since i joined here i have been noticing your face.You are charming.But there was no glow on your face.But recently your face changed a lot..after your engagement with Madhu Ma'am.But now again...what happened Sir?"
RK did not answer.
"By the way Bittu...i heard that you fought with Dipali and her gang.I never expected it from you.You were always calm.But what happened now?"
RK asked him to change the topic.
"RK Sir..our own staffs are gossiping about you.I could not tolerate it.So i shouted at them.That Dipali..her tongue is so sharp".
RK was embarrassed as his own employees are gossiping about him.
"What were they discussing about me?"
RK asked him.
"RK sir..i know that it's not true.."
Bittu did not want to hurt RK by saying that.
"Bittu..be frank to me.Tell me.."
"RK Sir...Dipali says that you were a cruel husband.You tortured your wife.So she left you.You did not give the baby to her just to make her life messy".
"No!"RK started sweating.
"No..it's not true.Fake..."
"I know that RK Sir".He comforted him.
"Bittu..i loved my wife very much.Still i love her.I never tortured her.I have always tried to make her happy.But she did not understand me".
"I trust you RK Sir.But then Madhu Ma'am...another rumour is that Madhu Ma'am was your brother Dev's girl friend".

RK did not respond.Bittu realized that it was true.Otherwise RK Sir would have reacted.
"If so,why did you get engaged to her?"
"Because i fell in love with Madhu".
RK shed tears.
RK was lost in his past.Memories covered him.
