Dance +' on Star Plus
Colors hit show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' is set for a change this year after one of its lead judges Remo D'Souza was seen in a promo on rival Star Plus' new dance show.
Star Plus revealed the promo of Dance +', which is being branded as the "ultimate dance show". In the promo, Souza is calling dance fans to participate in auditions. The show is expected to launch within the next 4-6 weeks, which means Souza is unlikely to feature on the Colors show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. Dance +' is Souza's own show. Previously, he has been a judge on ZEE TV's Dance India Dance' show.
Incidentally, Souza's new film ABCD 2 releases at cinemas next month.
BizAsia was awaiting a response from Colors on whether Souza had quit its reality show.
New ratings system - BARC
There was no significant change in latest Indian television ratings provided by BARC for Week 20 of 2015.
Star Plus ruled the airwaves with a gross rating of 171 million (last week 163 million), followed by Colors with 132 million (last week 144 million) and Life Ok rounding off the Top 3 with 113 million (last week 121 million).
ZEE TV was in fourth place with 97 million (last week 99 million) and SAB TV with 79 million (last week 73 million).
