"Aayie Kishor ji, aap logon ka hi intezar tha." Said a woman clad in orange saree.
"Namaskar Renuka ji. Thoda traffic mein fas gaye the. Maaf kijiye." Said Mr.Aggarwal entering the house along with his wife and daughter.
"Hota hai.. Please take your seats. Arey Sanyukta, kade kyun ho? Aao baitjao." Said the Renuka, while Sanyukta took her seat beside her mom and crossed her legs and sat with attitude who was dressed in a simple pink and white anarkali suit which complimented her wheatish complexion.
"Harsh kahin nazar nahi aa raha hai?" asked Kishor
"Oh, he is with Randhir. Aapko toh pata hi hai aise time mein thoda moral support ki zarrorat hoti hai." Informed Renuka
"Ji ji. Bilkul. Waise aap Randhir ko bulaiye. We don't want to wait anymore to see our son-in-law." Said Anju who got nudged by her daughter "oh I mean, prospective son-in-law" she corrected herself.
"Of course" replied Renuka and went to call her husband and son.
After a few minutes, Renuka came out followed by two men -older one wore a simple maroon kurta, while the younger was clad in faded blue jean and creame kurta. The older man on seeing Kishor hugged him and greeted the other two ladies with a curt nod and a smile.
"Harsh ji, aapka beta toh sach mein bahut handsome hain." Said Anju, and Randhir lightly blushed lowering his head.
"Why are you standing son, come sit with me." Said Kishor and Randhir immediately obliged. As he took his seat, he risked glancing at Sanyukta, who just winked and smirked at him to which he blushed and turned away.
"Beta, what do you do? What have you studied?" asked Kishor.
"Ji, mein woh.. Am working in my dad's company now. And I've completed my Mechanical Engineering." He said
"Oh. Sanyu bhi Mechanical Engineering kiya hai." Said Kishor
"Randhir, sab ko tea serve karo beta." Ordered Renuka
Randhir nodded his head and got up to do what his mother told him to. He finished serving all the tea cups and saved the last one for Sanyukta. As he gave it to her, their gaze met and she lightly pinched his hand due to which he dropped the cup on her dress.
"Oh God!! Am so sorry." He said blushing lightly, while his dad started "Yeh kya hai Randhir?"
"Koi baat nahi. Randhir, take her to the washroom and help her out now." Said Renuka
Randhir bobbed his head and asked Sanyukta to come along with him. Once they were away from their parents "Uff. Kya kya karna pada so that I could talk to you alone." Said Sanyukta.
"Ji aap yeh jaan buch kar kiya?" he asked innocently while she had a devilish smile on her lips.
"Dekho, mujhe yeh shaadi nahi karni. Bahar jake kehdo ki tumhe ladki pasand nahi hai. Samjha?" she threatened him
"Par mein aap ko pasand karta hoon." He said slowly
"Toh? Sab mujhe pasand karte hain" she said proudly and washed the stain on her dress and walked away to join their families and Randhir followed her.
