There have been strong rumours that superstar Rajinikanth is all set to come back on screen with Shankar. After their successful films like Sivaji and Enthiran, it seems that Rajinikanth expressed his interest in working with director Shankar again.
Said to be produced by Lyca Productions expectations are sky high for this new film as the music will also be done by maestro A R Rahman. Now, the news is that a Bollywood actress is likely to be roped in for this new film. Since Rajinikanth has already acted with Deepika Padukone in Kochadaiiyaan and Sonakshi Sinha in Lingaa, the team is on the look-out for a new actress. Who could be his best pair? Katrina Kaif
This Indian-British model and actress is someone whom all the top actors want to work with. Katrina Kaif may have started her career in a totally unworthy film but today she is one of the hottest actors in Bollywood. Priyanka Chopra
Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra is now an uber successful actress and singer too. Priyanka is today one of the highest paid celebs in B-Town and she's known for her acting shops. She was bestowed the National Award for Best Actress for her film Fashion in 2008 and has more awards in her kitty. Priyanka did do a Tamil film, Tamizhan, with Vijay in 2002 but that didn't do so well. She has the looks to pull off the south Indian look as well. May be she can sing a song in the Rajini film too!
Kareena Kapoor
This Bollwyood actress needs no introduction. Hailing from the Kapoor family, Kareena has made a name for herself with her acting skills and her marriage too. She has been a hit pair with top actors like Akshay Kumar. Again, she's a Bollywood actress who has never looked south - in fact she even infamously asked "Who is Suriya?" Like everyone, she knows who Superstar Rajinikanth is and considering her lineage this will be a wonderful pairing to see on screen.
Sonam Kapoor
Anil Kapoor's daughter is the fashionista of Indian cinema and we all know that. Sonam Kapoor has had an eclectic mix of films in her career so far and she's very happy with where she's going. She has acted with one south star already in a Hindi film - Dhanush in Ranjhaana - and it would be fantastic to see her on screen with his father-in-law, Rajinikanth! If she bags this film, she'll be the only Indian actress to have achieved this feat.
