I think it's the other way around. Aish probably goes the extra mile thinking she'll look more spectacular when really she ends up just overdoing things

This is totally speculative but maybe Aishwarya still has some baby belly left.  I think ever since Aaradhya I haven't seen her in anything that shows her midriff.  She's really preferring these loose Anarkali type ensembles.
