Just asking out of curiosity, since the writers themselves have brought out this point now, that both Raman's and Ishita's signature is needed for legal decisions regarding Ruhi and most of the forum members criticizing the writers for making fun of Indian Judicial system.
I have come across the terms 'Natural Guardian' and 'Guardian appointed by Court'. There is a point that for a son and unmarried daughter(minor) father is the primary natural guardian and secondly the mother. Another point I read is if the court appoints a guardian, it will not in anyway affect the legal relationship that the child shares with the biological father or mother.
I have also read that a guardian and a custodian r different in view of the rights they can exercise.
So yes, in the show Ruhi's custody was given to Ishita. So my doubt is, doesn't Raman have any legal rights on Ruhi, being the primary Natural Guardian, if not solely.
