The episode starts with King of Ujjain telling Agni that Bindusara sent a letter to him staying that he had no problems with the marriage of Justin and Agni and invites him to discuss the proposal. Agni says that the are digging their own graves. It's time for payback. The King says be careful of Helena, she is too clever.

Charumitra confronts Helena on Justin's wedding and said that she might just reveal all of her plans to Bindusara. Helena says that beware, it will take me hardly any time to reveal that sushim pushed Ashoka down the slope. I have enough e evidence to prove that. Ashoka cried for help but sushim just stood there waiting for Ashoka to lose his grip. Charu says that is why you sent sushim on an excursion. To frame him and blackmail me.
Ashoka is getting ready when Chanakya comes and ashoka asks him to go away saying that if he wanted to help, he would never have abducted him and lured us here and my mother would still be breathing. A furious Ashoka asks Chanakya to leave his sight and stop pretending to care. He reaches for water in a place where the royal kids mock and taunt him. They splash water on him and Sushim pushes him in a mud pile. Ashoka is aghast and says that I could have answered them back but I had to make my mom and Samrat proud. I'll do what I am expected to do.
Meanwhile, the guy banished by Mir Khurasan is drinking in a bar accusing himself when he eve teases a girl and the King of Ujjain notices this and retaliates back. Chanakya finds the King in disguise and is impressed by his valor. He asks him to join forces. The class at Vidyalaya starts and Ashoka is late. The professor taunts him and says that kids like you don't understand worth of time.
He asks how much tax should a State charge off its residents. Sushim gives a bookish reply that as a bee takes only that much nectar from a flower with which both can survive, a State must take only that tax with which both State and residents can survive. The professor applauds him and says I am honored to be teaching you. Ashoka questions that a bee takes the nectar to make Honey which benefits all, but the tax goes in the royal fund and no one gets benefit of it. The professor says you're no one to question rules!
Chanakya says why not! Rules must change with time! A warrior attacks and Ashoka defends. Chanakya informs that this is your new Guru. The Guru says, attack can be surprise, one must always be ready
