He know how to fight for his love ones, but he doesn't know about letting his love ones to fight for him. He never gave them the right, the responsibility. But he gave Nandini all the rights to fight for him, to protect him. He trusts her with him...
Before her meet her, he was the fighter, with no one to fight for him. He was the protector, without anyone to protect him. He was the leader, with no one to guide him. He looked out for his people, without someone looking out for him. He was the King, without his queen.
Before her, he had to took every decision, rashly and impulsively, just to bear the consequences. He did, still takes responsibility to every fault of his people, of their suffering. He does his best, but still sometimes they turn to him and tell him he wasn't there when they needed him...
How lonely it is to be their leader, to be their protector. How tiring it is to act as the unbreakable, the invincible and unbeatable. But when he took those roles for them. He wore those makes for them. And in the end he played his role, his mask so convincingly that even they forget that in the end he is only a teen, like them...
So many times he would have wished that he had someone who would have seen him, understood him. So many times he would have wished that there was someone told him how to deal with his people and how to help them. How many times he would have wished for someone who would have told him to think before act...So many times he would have wished someone was there who would have guide him. How many times he would have wished that there was someone with him to make him told him about the other side the coin. So many times he would wished that there was someone who would have made him understand others perspective...

Because she is his sky, she makes him dream, wish and hope. He is her earth, he makes sure she is grounded and doesn't loses the reality of the situation in her ideologies and theories. Because they know how complete they feel in each other's presence. They may not fully comprehend what they are, but they know, they feel that they are "us". When they are together, there is no "me" and "you", they are "us". They have proved again and again that they are each other's. They use their rights, mark each other as their territory, but when someone asks who are they to each other, they won't answer.
Between them there is one-way, but two. It's not only him who listens to her, she does it too. Its not only she who helps him, he helps her too. She is light to his darkness as he is the reality to her ideologies. He has guarded her from her naivety as she saved him from his pessimism.
She is his heart:- feel, hope, wish, dream...He is her mind:- think, understand, reality check, perceive...
They may fight with each other, but they know they will make their peace. Sometimes she falls short at his expectations. Sometimes he takes her for granted. They break each other's trust, but they earn it back. They make mistakes, but they also rectify it. They hurt each other, but they also put salve on the wounds, heal it with love and attention. With time they also forgive each other and move on...To live and learn, together...
They know, together, they are unbeatable, unstoppable, invincible...
P.s...Weekend means NO ky2, which means I have time to write an essay on MaNan and Manik for my PhD. 🤓 lol I really wanted to write my pov over this matter, even though I know no one will read it...lol
