Karan Johar plays the main villain, Kaizad Khambatta in Anurag Kashyap's upcoming Ranbir Kapoor- Anushka Sharma starrer Bombay Velvet. After looking at the first look of KJo from the film we can tell that he won't be playing his dandy, frivolous self in the movie. Instead, he will be menacing and vile. While the audiences cannot wait to see the filmmaker undergo that tremendous transformation, there is another piece of news regarding Bombay Velvet which has piqued excitement levels for the movie.
A highly placed source suggests that Bombay Velvet will have shades of homo-eroticism in the plot. The scenes which are mildly homo-erotic in nature will feature Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar. The source reveals that there is a scene in the film where KJo stares at RK's crotch for a moment, thus hinting at the homo-erotic undertones which say that his character is attracted to Johnny Balraj (Ranbir's character) but that strain is not explored in detail in the rest of the movie.
Bombay Velvet has Ranbir essaying the role of a street fighter and Anushka Sharma plays Rosie, the Jazz singer and Johnny's love interest. Karan plays the evil businessman Kaizad whose performance might take everyone by a suprise!
