The argument I'm posing is merely than unlike most Fawad fans, for me Fawad winning best DEBUT over starkids/non-starkids or whoever with 13 yrs of acting experience is nothing worth celebrating or feeling proud of. He IS the superior actor in the category because of his experience..so to beat actors with lesser experience, and with a performance that wasn't really matching his potential anyway...is nothing praiseworthy in my eyes. If it is for others, that's fine..each to their own.
Coming to a hostile country without connections and expecting him to give a National Award winning performance in such a role in his very first film...I would say you have lofty expectations. Anyways each to his own. Fawad needed this exposure as I am glad he's got it. Whether it leads to anything or not time will tell.
