Diya Aur Baati Hum Written Update 16th January 2015

Suraj is restless not able to sleep.  He hears some sound.  He remembers Sandhya's saree stuck to his watch and how Sandhya after a pause pulls it and moves out of the room.  He notices that pallu hanging design piece and picks it and puts into the drawer.  He goes to sleep again but again hears the sound.  He tries to close his ears but then again goes to the drawer and wraps that into a piece of cloth and goes to sleep.  He is unable to again as Sandhya's words of relieving him from his fear of his family being in danger and her moving away from him are haunting him and after some struggle, he comes to the drawer and takes that cloth with design piece and goes to keep it in the cupboard.  He then notices the photo album and takes it and opens it.  He is very emotional seeing their remarriage photos and then keeps that pallu hanging design in the album and closes it.  He is crying leaning on the cupboard and then goes to sleep and tries sleeping.  Bhabho is noticing all this from near the doorstep.  Suraj is crying with his eyes closed.

Vikram caught Chavvi redhanded and scolds her for lying about her in-laws and he saw her mother-in-law in Ajmer.  Chavvi begs him not to inform Bhabho as she is unwell.  He asks her why she sold her marriage jewels.  Meena says she might have bought powders and creams.  Chavvi lies that her in-laws sold it and also she had been troubling her to get dowry from her mayka.  Meena does not buy it saying Dilip's mother in good in nature and Chavvi is not reliable.  Dilip comes there and Chavvi asks him to tell the truth.  Dilip also says that he cannot believe his mother did like that and Chavvi continues that her in-laws threw them out of the house.  Vikram feels sad and comforts Chavvi.  Meena is scared as her plan backfired and now it seemed like Chavvi was going to stay in her mayka thus increasing their expenses and thinks of somehow getting her out of house.

The next day, Zakir and Sandhya having coffee.  Sandhya tells him she has signed the Scotland Yard training papers and has requested department to get her emergency visa and tickets so that she leaves the next day.  She is comforting herself saying everything happens for good and how this is an excellent opportunity for any police officer.  Zakir asks her why she is hurrying as they both are going to be felicitated in Jaipur on occasion of Republic Day.  Sandhya says Ankur will be receiving that award on behalf of her and diverts the topic asking how was the coffee.

In RM, Bhabhasa doing some pranayam exercises.  Suraj informs him that he paid the loan amount and got the shop papers back.  Chavvi comes there looking for Bhabho and scolds Meena for sending Bhabho alone.  Bhabhasa says he offered to go with her but Bhabho taunted him and he is now feeling like Bhabho is back to normal.  Meena brings the topic of sending Chavvi to her in-laws house and Suraj also asks her to get ready and he will get the taxi.  Unable to avoid it, Chavvi asks him to get taxi to drop her at a hotel.  Suraj questions her why and she tells Dilip and she cannot would stay in hotel until her in-laws return from trip.  Bhabhasa and Suraj convince her to stay at home.  Chavvi is pleased and thinks after 10 days she will directly go to her new house.

Bhabho and Chotu with some baggage are at Sandhya's place.  Ankita welcomes them and tells them Sandhya is in her room.  Sandhya is packing her things and Bhabho comes there.  Sandhya is surprised to see Bhabho there and takes her blessings.  Bhabho asks her whether her packing is over and Sandhya looks surprised.

Suraj making jalebis.  A couple come there.  The man tells Suraj that his wife is going to mayka and he wants to feed samosas and jalebis from his shop.  Suraj asks them to sit and asks the assistant to serve them.  The couple are having convo and the lady tells her husband that even she is not willing to go to mayka and why don't he stop her.  Suraj listening to it remembers Sandhya is also leaving that day evening and wants to see her.  He asks the assistant to manage the shop and leaves in his scooter.

Precap:  Suraj is standing near Sandhya's house and looking at the window upstairs to have a glimpse of Sandhya.  Sandhya gets a phone call and attends it near the window.  Suraj is lost seeing her and Sandhya feels something, maybe Suraj's presence.
