I guess he would know some Punjabi. He must have his relatives from father's side na, and moreover spoken Hindi and Punjabi share a lot of words.
BTW, he sure knows how to do Bhangra.. Did you notice the way he danced when Aroras come to his house during Pragya-Suresh wedding. Quite authentic he was.
Kanchi is Kashmiri+Mangalorean... Not sure if she would know much.. Depends where she grew up.
