In the morning, Prateek & Amrita realize that Neha was involved in Trisha's kidnapping through newspaper headlines. Amrita blames Prateek for siding with Neha all this time & for trusting her blindly. Prateek tries to argue back, but Trisha stops him. He leaves. Trisha tells Amrita that she'll support her no matter what & that she shouldn't tie herself down in this superficial marriage. Amrita hugs her.
At the police station, Kadam enquired from Kabir as to why he misinformed the media about Trisha's case being closed down. Kabir replies that the 2nd shooter is still roaming free & he's waiting for him/her to make another mistake after reading this news.
Trisha requests Dr Aditya to take her to the mental asylum so that she can face Kushan once and for all and move on in her life. Aditya refuses at first since it's risky & she's not recovered yet fully, but Trisha remains adamant. Aditya finally gives in & agrees.
Amrita calls Kabir as she's feeling confused with what all is happening around her. She clarifies that she's calling as a friend who requires some explanation & help in dealing with the current situation. She says that she's always tried to keep this family together but yet this day has arrived. Kabir replies that relationships are like a thread, some break off easily while others can endure a lot but still don't break. He advises her to look after her daughters as her bond is strongest with her children. Amrita finds relief after talking to her long lost friend & thanks him.
Prateek visits Neha at the police station. He insults her & says that she wasn't even capable of becoming his slipper, but still he gave her everything. And yet, even after all this, she cheated him. Neha tells him to shut up. Kabir hears their conversation from behind the screen. Neha tells Prateek that she cheated him since he was an outsider but he himself cheated his own family & played dirty tricks with them. So, he's more disgusting than her. Prateek warns her that she's capable of saying all these things as she's under arrest & well protected at the police station, but the day she gets out of the prison, he'll make her life a living hell. Neha laughs at him & says that he won't live till that day as he's not safe either. She warns him & says that he's made enough enemies outside who'll kill him by the the time she comes out of prison. Prateek grabs her throat & tries to strangulate her. The officers intervene & take Neha away.
At the Grewal house, Lavanya serves breakfast to Meghan. Meghan remembers all the good times she shared with Bobby & cries thinking about him. Lavanya hugs her and asks her to stay strong. Meghan replies that she's missing her father & brother. She asks Lavanya on why Kushan is being punished for the crimes he didn't commit. Lavanya replies that God is watching everything & He Himself will punish those who are responsible for this. She gets a call from her office assistant who reminds her to attend a Board Meeting.
At the police station, Kabir tells Kadam to find out about Prateek's enemies (like Solanki) who may have tried to shoot at Trisha because of his business rivalry.
At the Swaika office, during the Board Meeting, Prateek announces that the Board committee has decided to split into 2 parts- one part would keep on supporting Lavanya while the other would be headed by Prateek. He says that the Swaika companies would be split as well & Lavanya would be heading just the textile branch as she doesn't own a whole lot of shares in the entire Swaika business. The textile branch of the Swaika company was started by their father, and has undergone severe losses so Prateek has given Lavanya the most insignificant company. Lavanya says that it's unfair but Prateek clarifies that he's splitting it up in accordance to company's rules & policies. After the meeting gets over, Gaurav tries to talk to Prateek & says that it's unfair for Lavanya to have just one company. Prateek tells him that she was well aware of Kishan's evil deed & went to support him still & so she has to pay. He also warns Gaurav that if he doesn't stop supporting Lavanya, then he too will be given 1-2 insignificant companies & asked to split from the Swaika empire. Lavanya walks up to Prateek & grabs his collar. Prateek says that she's stooped so low that he doesn't even want to consider her his sister any more. Lavanya warns him that'll he will pay a huge price for this & leaves.
Back at the police station, Kabir is shocked to know that Trisha wants to meet Kushan. Dr Aditya tries to convince him to allow this meeting & says that Trisha wants to come face to face with the criminal who affected her life & this is very important for her to move on in life.
Kabir comes home to convince Amrita. She refuses to allow Trisha to meet Kushan. Kabir and Dr Aditya try to convince her. Kabir says that this meeting can bring back her lost memory & she'll be able to recall who the second shooter was. He also says that neither Amrita nor Prateek should be present with Trisha as this can affect the impact of this meeting. Kabir assures her that he'll take of Trisha & she won't be harmed. Amrita agrees & sends Trisha.
Lavanya, meanwhile, meets with Prahlad, the professional murderer she's hired to kill Prateek. He enquires as to how she would want Prateek to be killed- does she want him to be tortured before his death, or does she prefer a specific weapon to be used. Lavanya replies that she just wants to hear the news of Prateek's death by the evening itself & so she doesn't care about the killing method or the price he demands. Prahlad says that he'll plant a bomb in Prateek's car & that's guaranteed to work. Lavanya replies that he has 4 hours to do his job as Prateek will leave for Pune in the evening.
At the mental asylum, Kabir & Dr Aditya escort Trisha towards Kushan's cell. They stand back as Trisha goes forward. She watches Kushan scribbling "I will kill Prateek" on the walls inside his cell. She talks to him standing outside & says that she doesn't want to believe what the world says about him. Kushan goes towards her & asks her to kill Prateek. Trisha refuses to do that. Kushan grabs her throat. Aditya, Kabir & ward
Assistants rush to her side to save her. Trisha gets flashbacks of all the times Kushan had tortured her while she was being held captive. She sees his face clearly in her flashbacks & is able to recall what all he did. Kabir is able to free her from Kushan's grip but she faints from the shock.
Meghan visits Swaika house to meet Trisha but comes to know that she's gone to meet Kushan at the mental asylum. Amrita hugs her & sympathizes with what she must be going through. She tells her to stay strong. Meghan requests her to allow her to stay at the Swaika house as Grewal house is filled with painful memories. Amrita says that she's always welcome to visit but she'll have to support Lavanya at this difficult time & she can't abandon her. Prateek is leaving for the airport to catch his flight to Pune. Meghan requests him to drop her at the Grewal house, on his way. He agrees & they both leave together.
At the Grewal house, Lavanya raises a toast of champagne to celebrate the death of Prateek. Amrita calls her to tell her how concerned she is regarding Meghan & how she had visited the Swaika house today and requested her to let her stay there. Lavanya says that Meghan has a house of her own & she doesn't need a Swaika house. She enquires from Amrita of Meghan has left already. Amrita replies that Prateek will drop her off as he going to the airport. Lavanya panics & quickly ends the call. She tries to call Prahlad. Prahlad meanwhile, is seen following Prateek's car. He carries a remote that will set off the bomb that he's fixed inside Prateek's car. He's waiting for Prateek's car to pass through a secluded area in the forest. Prateek's car breaks down. The driver gets down & reports that the engine has overheated. Prateek tells the driver to call home to send a new car & look for a taxi meanwhile. Lavanya keeps calling Prahlad but his phone is on silent mode so he doesn't notice her phone calls.
At the Swaika house, Trisha regains consciousness & recalls everything. She tells Kabir, Aditya & Amrita about how she decided to fake a kidnapping drama so that Prateek doesn't divorce Amrita, since Neha wanted to move in with him. Kushan had suggested this plan to Trisha & at that particular time, Trisha was convinced this would work & she'll save her parents' marriage. So Kushan asked her to leave from the club & she kept doing what he asked her to do. But later, she realized that he had kidnapped her for real.
At the secluded highway, Prahlad sets off the bomb & the car explodes.
At the Grewal house, Lavanya weeps when she realizes she's killed her own daughter. She apologizes to Bobby & curses Prateek for snatching away her kids.
Precap: Trisha gets a nightmare & wakes up screaming. Amrita tries to calm her.
