Poland
Shivanand is shown in shackles being held in captivity. Two men come and take him with them.
Bunch of men together in a room and Garison (the bald man) says that for 12 years Shivanand has been misleading them but he wouldn't be able to with stand the sound torture. Garison says that if Shivanand wants to stay alive he would have to cooperate with them.
Sivanand is shown sitting in a glass cubicle like place and a bunch of pictures are passed in front of him along with some sound waves. He is unable to bear the pain and his ear starts bleeding. He is questioned on the pictures but he closes his eyes and remembers the time he spent with little Rudra. He starts chanting "Gayatri Mantra". The man asks his men to take Shivanand away as he has been using "Gayatri Mantra" as a way to survive the torture met out to him.
Allahabad
Pandey is shown remembering Swami's words. His brother in law asks him if he wants him to take care of Rudra. Pandey tells him not to do anything to Rudra but to catch him. Pandey asks him to be careful and his BIL assures him that everything would be fine
Poland
Sivanand is escorted back to his room. The men tell him that he will forever rot in captivity. The leave and Shivanand reveals a nail in his mouth. He recounts how while being brought back into the cell he managed to grab a loose nail with his mouth.
Mai is cursing the people who tied up Rudra. Mai asks him who they were. Rudra recounts how he got separated from his father, how there was an explosion and how is father was taken away by some men. He tells Mai that the same men were the ones who tied him up. Mai asks him why. Rudra says because of the markings on his back. Rudra has a FB of his little self running around with a shirt and his mother chasing after him. His father (Shivanand) notices him running. Shivanand makes him wear his clothes. Rudra says he wants to go to Mahakumbh today itself. Shivanand tells Rudra that it is not possible to go. Shivanand tells his wife to make sure that the markings on Rudra's back is not shown to public. His wife asks him if he is hiding anything from her. Shivanand comes to him and asks him if he really wants to see Mahakumbh today . Rudra says yes and they go. FB ends. Rudra tells Mai that his mother asked them not to go and every day she comes in his dreams and asks where his father is. Rudra leaves, Mai tries to go after him but Sanyasi stops her.
Poland
The Cardinal(the guy who is the head of the group) tells Garrison that a lot is at stake and tells him that they have to put their plans into action. Garrison assures the Cardinal that he would get everything out of Shivanand before the next Mahakumbh. A man comes and informs them that Shivanand has escaped. Cardinal warns Garrison that he better find Shivanand or else he would not be spared.
Shivanand is shown escaping and running away from his place of captivity. He runs and falls down onto the road where he is hit by a car. The car stops, a kid and his mother step out. The kid tells the mother that they need to help the man. The mother is hesistant at first then agrees to help Shivanand out. Shivanand watches the little boy walk towards him and is reminded of little Rudra.
India
Rudra is at the river bank recounting how because of this stubborness he lost his father. He picks up a rough coir rope and starts rubbing his back with it. As he is doing that the weather becomes stormy. Mai observes the change in weather and also spots Rudra trying to scrape of the markings off his back. Mai walks down to Rudra and calls out to him. Rudra stops rubbing his back and suddenly the weather clears. Rudra's back is covered in red cuts. Mai scolds him and asks someone to bring medicine. Rudra's wounds self heal and Mai is dumfounded. She touches his back and remains astonished.
Precap: Mai takes Rudra to an astrologer saying she wants to get his "kundali" made. The astrologer says that there is no one who would make a "kundali" for Rudra. A boy is shown crying out for his father (think his father fell into the river) and Rudra jumps into the river to save him. Astrologer tells Mai that Rudra's kundali shows that he will always be surrounded with danger. Mai is worried.
