A lady comes out of shopping mall laden with shopping bags and sits in her car. She sees someone pointing gun at her from out of car and before she could make any move, he shoots at her.
In a function, everyone is praising a man who is about to get businessman of the year award. But he is worried about something and everyone notices his attention is somewhere else. Two ladies talk to the man and seat besides his table. He then leaves function to receive a phone call whereas his secretary follows and calls him back. The man (Mr. Viraj) receives award and as soon as starts his speech a bullet is shot which results in Viraj's death.
CID team reaches at spot. Dr.Salunkhe observes that Viraj is shot from left side. On inquiry, everyone present say that they didn't see anyone shooting and also many guests ran away after the gun shot. Sachin observes a glass on left side table which has cracks on it while other glasses are intact. ACP sir and Abhijeet put a theory that this is caused because the gun was very near to the glass. Dr.Salunkhe agrees but starts checking the area to be sure of the theory.
Viraj's relatives present in the function inform team that he didn't had any enemies while his PA informs that he heard Viraj threatening someone on phone about not to cancel the order. Viraj's business partner says that she isn't aware of any such deal which got cancelled. CID team check Viraj's phone and see last call was received from some unknown number which is now switched off. ACP sir doubt that this phone call has connection with Viraj's murder.
On the other hand Mansa (lady who was shot at outside shopping mall) is convincing her mother to report this assault to CID. She then calls someone and asks to accompany her to CID bureau.
At the function hall, Abhijeet and Shreya inform ACP sir that unknown number belongs to a man named Arjun who died 5 years ago. Sachin finds a local gun hidden inside a plant pot. Team suspects that this might be the murder weapon.
In CID bureau, Mansa along with her business partner Aman, tells CID team that someone is trying to kill them. Aman says he was attacked in his office while Mansa narrates the incident at shopping mall. Both of them make sketches of their attackers for team while Dr. Salunkhe calls ACP sir confirming about the table from where Viraj was shot. The two attackers are not in criminal database so ACP sir asks team to take out the record of all cell phones present near the shopping mall and Aman's office at the time of attack. From the video footage of function CID team locates three girls sitting at the table, they think the killer was located at. ACP sir wonders who the three girls are.
Freddy and Pankaj find 2 numbers nearest to Mansa and Aman and ask telephone company to give the details. The phone near Mansa's location belongs to a Sheetal kumar. Freddy informs Daya about this.
At the award function venue, team calls girls they saw in the video. Two of them tell team that they don't know about the third girl while the organizers say that her name was not in the guest list. ACP sir doubts that she might have entered on the invite of one of the guests. The two girls further say that the third one had a big bag with her which she kept on the table and was fidgeting with it all the time but didn't see any gun with her.
In the cctv footage it is seen that the third girl came to by taxi. The taxi company informs that taxi was hired from Jwala road, Sachin says the girl is very smart as she hired taxi from a crowded area. Nikhil and Jaywanti go to Jwala road for inquiry.
CID team led by Daya reaches at Sheetal's house. She tries to mislead them but cops do not budge. They find a man hiding in her house and take him to bureau.
At Jwala road, a medical shop owner recognizes third girl and gives her address to Nikhil and Jaywanti. The girl along with two men leaves her house hurriedly only to find her way blocked by two cops. A fight follows resulting into victory of cops.
At bureau, the guy(Elesh) from Sheetal's house confesses about getting contract from Preetam to kill Mansa and his friend rinku was told to kill Aman. He tells cops that Preetam takes contracts to kill rich people and then distribute it among people like him. He further says that Viraj gave contract to Preetam for the murder of Mansa and Aman. Cops ask him about missing his target to which he replies that Preetam cancelled the contract at last moment and so both Mansa And Aman were safe.
Deepika, third girl from the function confesses that she killed Viraj on order from Preetam.
Cops ask for contact number of Preetam from Elesh and Deepika. They say, they never talked to Preetam but to her secretary Jiya who calls them from a new number every time and they used to receive an envelope containing details about contract.
CID team tracks all numbers of Jiya taken from Elesh and Deepika and finds a new number at the exact location as of Jiya's at Vidyanagar. Team follows current location of new number and reach at the location. Abhijeet calls at the number and says he want to give contract to kill his enemy. The lady at receiver's end says that she is Preetam's secretary Jiya and will give the message to Preetam. CID team led by Abhijeet then enters the house and he informs Jiya about their identity and the call he just made. Jiya says she thought someone was playing a prank with her and so replied it jokingly. Realizing herself cornered, Jiya says she works for Preetam but never saw him in person. Cops then get her ID proofs which say that she is Preetam. On receiving slap from Shreya, she confesses about her real identity. Abhijeet asks who gave contract to kill Viraj and then goes to Viraj's house. It turns out that Viraj's cousin, Shekhar was behind the murder. He was jealous of Viraj as the whole family business was owned by Viraj and Shekhar didn't had any say in it. So he started helping Viraj's business rivals Mansa and Aman. Shekhar further confesses that Viraj couldn't digest their growth and hence ordered a hit on them which he cancelled and instead gave contract to kill Viraj.
