"After my last three films " Force, Commando and Holiday " which were all based on men in uniform, I bring the Army to the small screen. With this show, I intend to raise the bar of action to a different level on TV," said Shah about the show that makes best use of advanced technology and locations to render a different feel.

The newly-launched channel Sony Pal targets the urban female audience segment and is trying to make a start with fresh content. The channel, which went on air in September, has a bouquet of shows that tries giving a break to hackneyed small screen plots.

Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne is one such show, dealing with the journey of a single woman fighting all odds to fulfil her daughter's ambition to be a badminton player.

While long-running shows such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Uttaran, Kum Kum Bhagya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and many more continue to rule the ratings, these new shows based on unique concepts are making the couch potatoes sit up and take notice.
