After five years of togetherness and being blessed with a baby boy, Daljeet Kaur and Shaleen Bhanot, who shot to fame with Star Plus's dance reality show Nach Baliye, are on the verge of calling off their relationship. The reason for their break up is better known to them, but as per a source, Shaleen's increasing abusive behaviour towards Daljeet has lead to this decision. According to a report in Bombay Times Daljeet has also recently filed a police complaint against Shaleen's harsh behaviour. Though the two have not completed the divorce formalities, they are on for separation and are not staying together.

TV actress Daljeet Kaur has called it quits with husband Shaleen Bhanot after five years of marriage. The couple was the winner of the fourth season of dance reality show, Nach Baliye. Apparently, Daljeet took Shaleen to the cops on November 30 after he allegedly assaulted her.

She has moved out of their house along with their one-year-old son.

Said a friend of the couple, "Shaleen is a very short-tempered guy and there have been incidences of physical abuse. In the past too, after a few months of their son's delivery, Daljeet, along with the toddler, had moved out of his home and stayed with her parents in Bengaluru. However, the two reconciled and she returned to Mumbai. But things reached a head this time around and she registered a police complaint against him."

When asked about legal separation, the friend added, "She is in a state of shock and hasn't decided on it, but legal proceedings will follow soon." While Shaleen didn't revert to our text message, Daljeet refused to comment on the news.
