Are the new gen of actors better looking than established stars?

I had made another thread on actresses becoming more and more average looking over the years, and someone had commented that the male actors were super ugly in comparison.

This is true, and even the new actors today are mostly below average looking, as they have always been in Bollywood.

Yes, there are a few actors who are conventionally handsome in every generation (Many people find Dharmendra and Rishi Kapoor good looking; then we have Feroz Khan, Salman, now Sidharth, etc).

But overall, the male actors continue to be bad looking generally.

And the actors that I have seen from some other regional films are even worse looking.

Do you find the likes of ARK, Varun, Sidharth, and Arjun better looking than more established stars like the Khans, Shahid, Akshay, etc?

For me personally for every Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar their generation also had an Ajay Devgan and Shahrukh Khan. I'm sorry, SRK is obviously a superstar and has screen charisma galore but his looks do not appeal to me. So yes I would put an Aditya Roy Kapur in the same league as Salman Khan. I would put Shahid Kapoor in the same league as Aamir Khan in his Dil days (super cute chocolate boy face, and actually very handsome with a beard in Raja Hindustani).

Ranbir is sort of like the new Saif. Not bad looking at all, but looks too much like his mother to be called handsome.

Then there are those who as they get older they become better looking and more distinguished. Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar. At his current age I do feel Sidharth belongs in this group. How time will treat him is anyone's guess. ARK is very handsome as well. Salman is back to looking good. For a few years there he seemed too worn out. Aamir to me still looks good, and finally doesn't look 25 anymore lol.

All of this of course is my personal opinion.

When the 'old' one started,no one cared about their looks mostly. Bollywood gandu hadn't started waxing Akki's chest😆

These days looking good is a must. See how they trolled my poor Tiger.😭 See VD's old pics and compare him now,there's a difference.😆

I won't call them better looking. They are more groomed.

I would say it's the same, before we had Salman and Akshay and the rest were average looking.
Today we have ARK and SidM, and the rest are average looking.

But one thing improved and that's their bodies, even the ugly guys of today have nice physique.

During their peak Shahrukh, Amit ji, Salman, all looked really good!

The thing with the newer generation is that they are all young. So obviously they'll look better. Ayushmaan, Siddharth, & Aditya are all good looking guys! <3

But I'd still take the 90s SRK & Salman over these newbies anyday. I'll still take SRK today! He's almost 50 so you can't expect him to look so young.

^^ CP, I meant to compare the actors in their prime- for example, the Khans in the 90s vs today's new actors.

Not really. In the past we got actors who are outsiders. Abhi no chance. We only get manufactured products of yesteryear actors and they're all meh.
