Prologue:
"You have to choose anyone out of us both Kriya. Whoever who you choose will be the winner and the other person will surrender himself to the winner." Two men were facing each other with gun's pointing at each others forehead. One was dressed in black whilst the other one in white. The man dressed in white uttered these words. Kriya was standing between them.
"I...I can't do that"
"Kriya you have to choose anyone." The man in black spoke this time.
"Please don't make me do this..." She replied whilst tears streamed down her face
"Kriya, it's either him or me." Both of them yelled at once gripping their guns tightly. She was confused. One side was the person who has been her only support from the last four years and the other side was the person whom she loved to the core.
"Why can't you both solve your differences for me? I need both of you in my life. Why don't you guys understand? It is not easy to choose between you."
"Kriya don't waste more time. We can't stand here for long. We need to leave before the cops arrive." The man in white said.
"Then why can't both of you come along with me? We can sit and talk."
"Kriya, water has exceeded its level. We cannot sit and have a discussion. Make a choice Kriya." The man in black replied.
"I'm sorry." She replied and with her head bowed down she walked towards the man dressed in black. He smirked at the other person and without wasting a moment he shot the man dressed in white. Kriya shut her eyes and turned away not having the heart to watch it.
...
"Kriya what have you done? He doesn't love you. He purposely made you fall in love with him so that he can use you against."
"This...this can't be...true...he loves me. He truly loves me.
...
"How could you do this to me?"
"No baby, I really fell in love with you. I'm sorry but I didn't mean to hurt you. I was going to tell you everything this evening. Trust me please. Give me another chance baby. Let me prove it to you that I love you.
She woke up with a jolt. She clutched her head in her hands, trying to calm herself. Pushing aside the duvet she climbed out of the bead and headed to the washroom. After splashing cold water on her face her breathing returned.
"It is entirely my fault. I wish I could have chosen the right person. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I really am sorry." Wiping her tears she returned to the bed hoping to sleep without having that nightmare again. "I wish I never had met you."
She closed her
eyes only to be surrounded by his
memories.
