The episode starts with Tejaswini treating Suraj's hand from the fireworks burn. Bhaiya ji talks to Prabhakar and scolds him for Ishwar's behavior and is furious because Ishwer sent crackers to the villagers. Ishwar takes the phone from Prabhakar and threatens Bhaiya ji. He tells Bhaiya ji that what Chakor did was a sign of a new morning because soon enough his evil will end just like how light takes over darkness. Ishwar then wishes Bhaiya ji a happy Diwali. Bhaiya ji gets angry and throws the phone. Suraj gets sad and cries saying that no one is scared of him as they were all laughing and didn't give him any crackers. Bhaiya ji asks Suraj to go to his room in a rage. Suraj turns to Tejaswini for support but Tejaswini reprimands him and tells him it's his mistake. Suraj leaves.
Tejaswini asks Bhaiya ji not to tell Suraj anything as he might get a reply which he can't bear. Bhaiya ji tells Tejaswini that he can't bear the fact that she finds him in the wrong. She tells him that she doesn't think he's wrong but his anger is wrong and because of his anger he can't do anything and Suraj is following in his footsteps. Bhaiya ji disagrees with Tejaswini but she backs up what she's saying by telling that he's angry and unable to think that's why Ishwar is troubling him. He asks her what's to be done because they government in the village is on his side and not where Ishwar is. He also tells Tejaswini that Ishwar is serving their rivals and if he does anything against him, then he can get into a big problem. Tejaswini tells him not to think about it as they would find the solution to their problem very soon. They go have their dinner.
In the morning, Chakor wakes Aditya by pulling the blanket off his body. Aditya gets irritated and asks her how she wakes people. Chakor laughs and tells him that she used to wake Imli by tickling her with a feather in her ear. Aditya tells her it's a good story but she shouldn't try that on him and he's going back to sleep. Chakor is stubborn and tells him to wake up as they have to go to the sports day together. He tells her that he's aware that she wants to meet Vivaan. Chakor tells him not only does she want to see Vivaan but she also wants to see how fast he can run. Aditya says he can run very fast and Chakor makes fun of him asking how can he run when he has a big stomach. She runs and Aditya runs after her asking why she called him fat.
Abha and Ishwar have tea and Abha asks Ishwar why he spoke like that to Bhaiya ji the day before. Ishwar tells her that it's getting too much and his increasing threatening calls and he can't bear to see his dad's insult. Ishwar asks Abha why she's getting scared of Bhaiya ji being educated she should know that threatening is a crime. They see Aditya running after Chakor and he tells his parents that Chakor called him fat. Ishwar and Abha laugh and ask him to stop running so fast otherwise he'll get tired and won't be able to run in school. Aditya says it's a good thing that Chakor doesn't study at his school otherwise she would have won the competition. Chakor tells him that's not always how it is because Imli used to defeat her at times. She then reminisces the old days and how she used to stop by a tree to let Imli win the race.
Abha tells Chakor to sit. Chakor then asks Ishwar if he sent her gifts to her parents and Ishwar complies and tells her that her parents will be their with them very soon. Chakor thanks him and says she'll get ready as she is accompanying them to the sports day and if they're late then their gate will be closed. Ishwar tells her that from now on no door will ever be closed for their Chakor. Chakor smiles.
In the village, the people gossip and say that they're very scared as Tejaswini can do anything to them. They discuss why Tejaswini is going to the village and she then makes an appearance. The villagers bow down and greet her. Tejaswini sees the diyas on the floor and scolds them.
Lakhan accompanies Tejaswini and asks everyone to listen to what she has to say. Tejaswini tells the villagers they should know that Diwali is celebrated at the haveli but she can see that things have changed now and Diwali is also celebrated among the villagers. She then adds on saying that while they were celebrating Diwali, they didn't think that the crackers could burn them (haveli people) too. Tejaswini gets angry and tells them to remember that the land they're standing on is owned by them and their children get food only because of them as well. She reminds them about the stamps on their hands which mean that they're their bandhua and they will always remain so. She greets everyone and leaves.
Bhuvan's mother tells everyone that she was right and Tejaswini is not a woman but a devil. Saroj asks Kasturi to tell Chakor not to do anything like this again. The villagers leave and Kasturi is left in anger thinking that they're all very selfish as they were all burning crackers yesterday and blaming Chakor today. Bhuvan asks her to come to her senses and see what is happening. He tells Kasturi that they should stop Ishwar from sending them anymore money as it will be the cause of their death one day. Bhuvan's mother supports him and tells Kasturi to go stop the money order. Kasturi is in tears. Bhuvan asks the postman to stop Ishwar from sending money but the postman says he can't stop Ishwar from sending money but he can hide the money and give it to him stealthily. The postman tells Bhuvan that the only reason he will do this is because they have been friends for a very long time and he can do this for him.
Bhuvan tells him that Lakhan will get to know about it one way or the other and then Bhaiya ji will not spare him. Bhuvan gets worried and the postman tells him that he's risking his life and job just for him. Kasturi remembers Lakhan sending money and asks the postman where Lakhan sends the money. The postman tells her to keep a secret and no one should get to know about it otherwise his life will be in danger. Kasturi says she won't tell anyone. The postman tells her that Lakhan sends money to his mistress not his wife's maayka. Kasturi thanks him and thinks that she finally got a way of reaching Chakor.
Precap: Chakor and Aditya's school and Aditya notices her looking around. He asks her if she's looking for Vivaan. Ranjana goes there with Vivaan and sees someone.
