BIODATA Of MUGDHA CHAPHEKAR ~

Mugdha Chaphekar (born 24 March 1987) is an Indian television actress,
who gained popularity due to her role of Princess Sanyogita in the series " Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan". This show became a stepping stone for her in this glamour world. Despite not being to the family belonging to the glamour world she had made a mark n space for her in this world.She started her career in acting at the age of 5. She also acted in serials like Solhaa Singaarh Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi and Kya Mujhse Dosti Karoge. She has also worked in films as a child artist. After Dharti ka veer yodha prithviraj Chauhan, she came back in another Sagar Arts presentation, Dharam Veer as Shera. Shera is her personal fav character. The show ended in October 2008.

She went to star in the drama serial Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari on Colors opposite Karan Wahi where she had a completely different punjabi avatar. She was part of the show Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo on SAB TV as Aarti alongside Sumeet Rhagavan,Apara Mehta and Tiku Talsania and Golmaal hai bhai sab golmaal hain as Dhwani. She fought against women violence by appearing in a show "Halla Bol" as Isha. Presently, she will be seen in Zee tv's Satrangee Sasural as Aarushi.

Mugdha has worked with big actors like Dharmendra Sachin in her first film "Aazmayish".
She has completed her graduation in English Literature from D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga, Mumbai. She completed her graduation by securing first division in the third and final year while she was shooting for her show Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan .

Besides this Mugdha also showed up in many commercial advertisements like Clinic Plus, Rexona, Coca-Cola, Reynolds and one in a food restaurant telecast in United Kingdom.

Mugdha was first noticed in the popular show Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan.

Rajat's and Mugdha's onscreen chemistry was loved by the audience and widely accepted.
Though the cast of the show was changed on 21 October 2007 but she returned in a new look with her previous co-star Rajat in a new series Dharam Veer on NDTV Imagine.

Mugdha Chapekar shares a great rapport with all her co- stars especially with Rajat Tokas who plays the lead character of Prithviraj Chauhan. In fact their pair together has won many hearts and in the prestigious award ceremony Star Parivaar Awards they have won the 'Yogya Jodi 2007' award from the side of the viewers. This fact itself portrays how favorite they have become in the eyes of small screen viewers.

Mugdha is really appreciated for her ability of doing the role according to the need of the character. In the serial Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan she had emoted the character
of Sanyogita. She had played the role of Chandni in Mere Ghar Ayi Ek Nanhi Pari, Aarti
in Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo, Dhwani in Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai on SAB TV. Mugdha has been seen in Bindass's show Halla Bol. This show was based on social abuse against women. Mugdha Chaphekar has been finalized to play the lead role in Zee TV show titled, Satrangee Sasural as Aarushi opposite RAVISH DESAI.
