They are surely responsible for driving you up the wall many a times in class. They complete all the assignments on time, come ready with all answers for the class, they don't mind sitting through a lecture all by themselves but a mass bunk is complete a no no for them, these teacher's pets can go to great lengths just to remain in the good books of the teachers!

The Back Benchers

Each and every class will have The Back Benchers'. They sit on the last seats and do anything but study in classes. Making weird sounds, troubling the class, eating between classes and sleeping in during the lectures are the highlights of people in this category. They are very possessive about their seats, you might not want to annoy them by sitting on one, unless of course you yourself are one of them.

The Nerd

They are always lost in the books, they spend lunch breaks finishing the homework to be submitted next week, their notebooks are up to date, and they have no time to make friends. Books are their life and they are proud of it. A little low on the social front but very high on the grades. Your parents want you to idolize them, and why not? They turn out to be very successful in the later parts of their life. They are the Nerds!

The Bully

They walk around the school like a boss, full of anger and insults for anyone who comes their way. They don't mind punching someone's lights out and then spend the rest of the day outside the principal's office. The bully might just be the last person you want to mess around with, so maintain a safe distance.

The people fitting into this category are spotted outside the class more than being inside. Punishment comes naturally to them. After a point, they also give up because whatever they do might just call for another harsh punishment for them.

They make it a point to study everything that is going to be covered in the class the next day. Most of them share the stage with the teacher's pet but few just do it to look superior and intelligent.

Anything wrong you do or say makes it to the diary of the reporter which ultimately travels to the teacher. Their moment of joy is usually when you get penalized for these acts. They are also addressed as the complaint box' by a lot of people. Hated by many, trusted by few, their ultimate aim is to become the class monitor and a majority of them succeed in doing so!

The Class Bunker

You will never know if they have come to school or not, they are always missing from class other than the recess of course. They know the school better than most of you because it takes efforts hiding from teachers. Everything is more attractive to them than attending classes. They hardly get spotted but once they do, they come up with the most absurd excuses ever. Most of the sports fanatics fit into this category as their love for the field is the driving force to miss their classes.

The Stationery Shop

Exam or a lecture, you have always turned to them for a pen and they give you the least favourite out of the 50 they carry. No surprize there! Try not returning the one pen or pencil that you have borrowed and they will haunt you for days to return it to them. They never say no, if you need one (well mostly) but they expect you to return it in one piece, after all stationery is their treasured possession.

The Foodie

Their main agenda in class is to get their hands on food that can be eaten in between classes. Before lunch or after lunch they just need something to munch on during the lectures. Food is the reason they want to sit on those back benches. Scold them or punish them, they will just not stop.

There is a tough competition for this tag! The ones who fits this category will have girls drooling after them. This just comes naturally to many, the ones associated with sports or the school band, have high chances of making it to this tag. The good looks, the charm, the humour and the personality are the dominant characteristics of these guys.

It takes a lot of make-up, fan following, gossip and more gossip to bag the miss popular label. They are friends with the juniors, seniors, super seniors and of course the batch mates. Most of them are really mean, yet another thing that leads to their popularity but there are a few who are friendly too.

The Friends

They have been together since the longest time and live in their own worl. The friends are usually the cool group who are spotted having the best times together. The sickness of one is the reason for the absence of all others from the school/college. They laugh together, fights together, eat together, work together and are also punished together. The school/ college life in incomplete if you don't have these creatures you call friends who undoubtedly are the best part of our memories.
