Interesting interview.

She doesn't try to create any sympathy talking about past struggles or heartbreaks.

Also wonder which films she lost 'cos they went to actor's GF though Producer/Directer wanted Sonam.

Highway didn't do even average business but journos don't bring it up to Alia in a negative way while Bewakoofian which did average business is used against her.

Funny comment about SLB. Good that they are still in touch.

Boring interview.

"People respect my intelligence" - Really?

"I have done it all on my own. I haven't taken pocket money since I was 17." - I just can't.

"My father hasn't made a film for me" - ...

"People always focus on my negatives. They won't ask me about Raanjhanaa or Bhaag Milkha Bhaag but they will ask me about Bewakoofiyan. It is different for Alia, they won't ask her about Highway, which is not even an average film. You will not even ask her about that." - Is she really that dumb? Highway got a lot of praise for Alia and critical acclaim. She balanced it with two other superhits this year. How can this be compared to Sonam whose Bewakoofiyan could not even recover its budget? She didn't get critical acclaim either like the much junior Alia did. She had bikini scenes etc for the film, and it still made much less than what Highway did.

And Sonam forgets that this negativity is not just about her. Every star who faces failure faces this and this has been the case forever. I find it silly how she wants the media to focus on the positives only. How about some hard facts? You've been in this industry for so many years with such little success, and you do not like the fact that people perceive you as a fashionista more than an actor?

She is quite delusional and far away from reality. And the interview was super boring. Most boring one of Niranjan yet.

Yea, don't get why she was grilling Niranjan regarding talking about failures. Salman gave so many BBs but still gets asked about Jai Ho. Happens with everyone.

Ok I cant watch the video right now but from the comments,why Sonam had to get so defensive abt Bewakoofiyaan failure?😆.How can she compare a candy floss YRF romcom with a dark movie like Highway? Highway was just Alia's 2nd movie..she won a lot of critical acclaim..It made decent money given the star value and genre it belonged..but was adjudged a flop cuz of the high budget!😆.And whats with this sudden bitterness towards Alia? They were close buddies earlier right? Cuz she refused to be ur bhabhi? 😆

I watched Khoobsurat and liked Milli/sonam's character in the movie but in real life sonam is just INTOLERABLE! 😡 No matter how much you try to like her she just makes it so difficult

She is hands down the most annoying celebrity there has even been in bollywood

She makes kareena look soft spoken and polite😆 Im not a hater but how can she be so delusional

She has 2 wonderful parents, it's just sad they couldn't keep her grounded

She says her dad has never made a movie for - ahem -AISHA, KHOOBSURAT.

She says people respect her intelligence??? - Oh pleaseee - they laugh at her

She keeps calling herself 'pretty girl' and 'good looking' - Even a 'pretty girl' like her can start to look ugly due to her thoughts n personality

She says not to question her about bewakoofiyan - Other actresses get questioned about things which are far worse than a flop film and they come out of it looking stronger rather than bewakoof like her

She can try all she wants but she just doesn't have the personality of a movie star...

Gosh i do sound like a hater...she just gets on my nerves coz i want to like her but can't😭

She sounds bitter, defensive and a little bit delusional as well 😆

She turns red at the mention of Bewakoofian, had to go all the way taking Alia as an example which is dumb.

When she says she doesn't like to portray a sorry picture for publicity about her struggles like she didn't had anything to eat, she had to 5000 auditions looking for roles or other bullshit in her words, that's probably because she never saw what real struggle is..

And she'd look like a dummy if she says that 😆
