*Because of you, I'm lying awake at night
All I'm seeing are pictures of you
As I close my eyes and I fade my way
Into the loss of my dream world*
- lyrics belong to Dead by April.
We Found Love
Concept : Vidushi puts her feelings down onto Paper. And anwers all of Parth's questions.
Parth,
You asked for reasons behind my actions.
Let me tell you why:
(Read everything, you will find all your answers.)
1. Introduction:
The sound of your name left my lips like a poem.
2. Love:
My heart raced everytime I looked in your direction.
3.Light:
You burnt himself down, illuminating, dying, saving the world.
4. Dark:
Your eyes were like the night minus the stars...Why?
5. Seeking Solace:
How do you find comfort in the sound of someone's name?
6.Break away.
Thinking about you is like tearing me apart.
7.Heaven:
I found it in your arms only to be ripped away into the hell that was reality: your hatred.
8.Innocence.
Your smile, the first time I saw it was the epitome of everything good in this twisted world.
9.Breathe again:
I held my breath when you glared at me and could exhale only when you looked away
10. Memory:
It is a curse he cast upon me, I cry at night...forget?
11. Insanity.
In this world of broken poeple you were my clarity but you clouded my life, I don't know anything anymore.
12. Misfortune:
My fate was sealed the day my eyes found yours.
13. Smile.
I fake it, you break it.
14. Silence.
It was smothering me and I wanted you to say something...Anything!
15. Questioning.
You wanted answers that I myself didn't know.
16.Blood.
It runs down your knuckles but causes me pain.
17. Rainbow.
You can walk in and light me up like the sky.
18. Grey.
You see the world in black or white but all I see is an ugly blur, not pretty at all, like me.
19. No time.
The clock mocks me, time is slipping through my fingers and I need to save you from yourself
20. Trouble Lurking.
You had a fistful of troubles and I let misery knock on my door.
21. Tears.
It's just salty water, not me dying inside, right?
22. Forgiven.
You will never use my name and that word together.
23. Sorrow.
I'm trying not to drown in it and you mock me with a lifejacket.
24. Happiness.
When I think of it, I see your face, your hands in mine, us, contented, together, forever.
25. Under the rain.
I loved it, it hid my tears...you hated it, it exposed your fears.
(I know.)
26. Night.
I'm closer to you...in my dreams.
27. Expectations.
I've always tried to get more then I deserve, but not this hatred.
28. Stars.
They are the only ones that KNOW.
29. Hold my hand.
Everytime you grabbed me I hoped you would tell me you saw through me and you understood me...everytime my wish was granted but never in the way I wanted it to be.
30. Precious.
The only thing that remains of me are a broken heart and our memories.
31. Dreams.
I fear and love them...just like you
32. 2 Roads.
Yours and mine: They would lead us away from each other and I'd run ahead to see if the there was an intersection while you would stay still, savouring your freedom.
33. Creation.
How drunk was God the day He made our lives a sappy tragic bollywood movie?
34.Childhood
Did you have one?
35. Waiting
For you to see the real me: Waited, waiting, always will be.
36. Danger ahead.
You should have come with a warning sticker that said 'Caution: May cause Heartbreak.'
37. Do not disturb.
Curse me for meddling with things that did not belong to me: namely, YOU.
38. Horror
What scares me the most is that YOU looked at me like I'm unimportant and yet, you are the most important thing in my life.
39. Playing the melody.
My body danced to upbeat music, my heart crooned sad love ballads.
40.Hero
We both needed saving but neither of us had superpowers ; yet I tried...
41. Mirror
I started skipping the shiny glass because I did not want to look at the face that you hated with all your heart.
42. All I have
Hope.
43.Give up.
There is no saving me now.
44. Puppet show.
You pulled my strings and made me dance to your whims, did you know that?
45. Too easy.
You made loving you too easy, and the lazy silly girl I was, I fell for it, for you.
46. You are
The music to which my body dances, the air I breathe, the water that kills my thirst, the fire that warms my heart...You are everything to me.
47. Maybe.
That's how I'll remember you later, a what if...?
Ha, I almost fooled myelf here, I'm good!
48. Not enough
Nothing can make you love me, like me or even bear me.
49. Run away.
I want to leave, I can't take it anymore that you can't take me anymore.
50. Birthday gift.
Here it is, Happy 21st! You get what you wanted, freedom from me.
Now that you know, our deal is done. Thirty days. You made them the happiest days of my life, so it's my responsibity to uphold the deal and give you the best days of yours.
By the time you read this, I'll be away from here, just like you wanted. I've paid back all my debts incase you were wondering.
Have a good life. Don't waste any of it in anger or hate.
Wait, now that I'm gone, so has all your anger and hate.
I could never be anything to you, I'm sorry for trying and hurting you as well as me in the process.
This is goodbye. I hope you find your happiness and forget all your pain.
- Vidushi.
He clutched the paper in his hands.
What had she done?
Stolen?
Lied?
For him?
He walked, unconcerned about the fact that it was midnight.
The gates were alone except for a taxi that roared to life.
He ran, reaching just in time to see a pensive face in the back seat.
And the car drove away,
Leaving him in the dust.
A tear rolled down her cheek.
Half her heart would always be lost to her.
The papers were crushed in his fist.
His chest felt painfully tight.
He didn't care about her at all.
Then why were his fingers furiously assulting the cellphone in his hand?
She picked up at the third ring.
"Hello?" her voice was chocked and stuffy "Who is this?"
"Vidushi! How dare you do this for me? Come back right now and explain yourself!" he roared, hating the lump in his throat.
"I already told you. I love you. I made a mistake." he could hear the pain in her voice "So I'm correcting it. By going away."
"Don't be a fool. You are throwing away your future. For me." Parth sighed.
"No Parth, I'm throwing away the Past. For me. I think it's time for me to be a little selfish." he heard a choked sob.
The line went dead.
And so did her heart.
She composed herself for the road ahead. A life without him.
She could live, knowing he was happy now.
It rained hard that night and he got drenched to the bone.
The words on her letter faded but they were branded in his memory.
Memories of the girl he never gave a chance.
She haunted his dreams.
He saw her everywhere in the campus.
Her absence made him feel hollow
He had confronted the doctor in the morning about who had made his payments.
Vidushi.
He had to pay her back.
One day, he would.
But Parth knew that she had done this without expecting anything, knowing fully that he was not capable of giving her what she wanted.
His love.
His day was painful.
He could not get her out of his head.
He knew there was only one thinf that could be done.
He sneaked into the office and uncovered her records.
Scribbling down her address took him a few minutes.
Sneaking out of the college premises took him an hour.
Finding her home took him a day.
But he had decided not to waste anymore time trying to compose himself.
His hands trembled as his fingers found the bell.
"I'm coming!!!!" the sound of her voice calmed him down a bit.
The door creaked open and he looked at her shocked face.
"What are you doing here?" she whispered, coming out and frantically closing the door.
"I'm here to take you back with me." he told her in a matter of a factly tone.
"Vidu? Who is at the door?" a loud female voice yelled.
"Leave!" Vidushi hissed, pushing him away before she slammed the door shut on his face.
"I won't leave till you let me in! " Parth yelled, ringing the bell rapidly.
"Vidu...the door!!"
"Argh!! This annoying salesman is not leaving" Vidushi's loud hiss annoyed him and made him smile a little.
The door opened again and he saw an irritated Vidushi.
"What do you want?" she hissed.
Parth smirked "A day. Give me a day to convince you to come back."
"No WAY! Go away!" she tried to close the door but he put his foot in between and entered the house.
"Parth!!!!!!" Vidushi squealed in frustration.
And then she covered her mouth in horror.
She had forgotten her mom was right in the kitchen.
"Look who we have here? Let me guess, you must be Parth?" the older woman smiled at him.
"Yes, ma'am" Parth nodded.
"So polite." Vidushi's mother smiled."Just like Vidu said."
Parth turned to Vidushi who was as red as a tomato.
" What the hell mom!" Vidushi frowned.
"Come on Vidu...I am polite. That's why I came to ask your mother's permission to take you out." Parth smiled.
"What?" Vidushi asked
"Mrs. Kumar, I know this is probably very rude and uncalled for. But I need to talk to Vidushi. " Parth spoke calmly "I just need to convince her."
"Convince her for what?" Mrs. Kumar raised an eyebrow.
"I need to convince her to take me back. I was stupid to let her walk away from me." Parth hung his head.
A smile spread on Mrs. Kumar's face.
"You can stay for lunch. I'd like to know my daughter's boyfriend better. Maybe you can convince her to return to FITE and not give her exams externally."
"I'll try my best." Parth smiled back.
"Take him to your room. But don't lock the door. I don't want to become a granny so soon." Mrs Kumar disappeared into the kitchen.
"Children these days" her laugh made Parth grin.
"Come on. To my room." Vidushi rolled her eyes.
He followed her in silence.
Her room was like her.
Bold.
Covered with posters and drawings.
"Nice" he looked into her angry eyes.
"Why are you here?" she demanded, hating her heart for beating faster.
"To take my girlfriend with me." Parth replied.
"3o days are over Parth, you don't have to pretend." Vidushi frowned.
"We did not officially break up. You are still my girlfriend. Come back with me?" he looked at her, his eyes begging her to listen to him.
"Why? So you can eat my heart?" she scoffed, trying to smirk.
"Yes. And so that you can eat mine. FITE is not FITE without you." he grinned.
"And what about you? Do you want me back? I thought you wanted me to leave." Vidushi mummbled.
"I wanted the witch to leave. Not the saint, not the innocent, sacrificing girl who saved me. I want her back." Parth took her hand in his.
"And what if I tell you that the witch and the saint are a package deal?' her voice trembled.
"Then I'd tell you that I can handle it. Come back. I can't concentrate on anything. Not studies, not taichi nothing but you" He comfessed.
"What does this mean?" she was confused.
"This means...you are a part of my life. And I would miss you if you went away. I didn't sleep last night. I kept thinking of you. Do you really love me?' he pulled her into his arms and held her.
Having her there calmed him down.
He didn't know why, but it did.
She was real.
She was redeemed.
She was ...needed?
"I love you and I only want to see you happy. That's why I had decided to give my exams externally." Vidushi leaned into the hug.
"Will you return if it makes me happy?" he stroked her hair absently.
"That will be letting you off too easily. I have to torture you a bit" she giggled.
" Come back. Then you can torture me all you want. I want you to come back with me today itself!" Parth tightened his arms around her.
"Hmmm...you want me?" Vidushi played with his hair.
"Yes. I want you. All of you. Your wicked ways and also your beautiful soul." He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, chuckling as she shivered in delight.
"I want you too. All of you." she blushed.
"I can't promise love, but I can promise that I'll be there for you no matter what, I promise I will not judge you or treat you meanly. And maybe one day, I hope I can learn to love you like you need." He let go of her , looking into her tear filled eyes.
" It's all I ever wanted."
"You deserve someone better than me. Someone sweet and nice and not a jerk like me."
"I don't want sweet and nice, I prefer spice" the smirk on her lips made one appear on his own.
"So do I" he gently brushed his lips against hers.

True love isn't found, it is built.
He'd laid the foundation for that love with a kiss.
It would take them years to build their love.
Years of fights, tears, disagreements, heated kisses and apologies.
But in the end, they would have an indestructible castle.
And the princess and her prince would live happily ever after.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vidushi sighed in contentment as her husband placed a kiss on her cheek.
He was back from his conference in Berlin, tired and jet lagged.
She let him into bed with her and they cuddled.
Interwined legs and her lost in his embrace.
"How was your conference, hubby?" her sleepy voice made him smile and he placed a kiss on her nose.
"We got the deal. We should celebrate properly" his husky voice made her blush. Even after 6 years of being a couple. And 4 years of Marriage.
"We could celebrate later. Your devil kids have exhausted me." Vidushi pouted.
"My devil kids? Mrs.Kashyup may I remind you that you too are a fiesty little devil and that's how we have devil kids!" Parth kissed her nose again.
"They are just two years old. Imagine what they will be like when they will be teens?" Vidushi giggled.
"I love you." Parth whispered. "I love you for this. For our kids, for supporting me when I started my company from scratch, for being optimistic and loving me no matter what. I love you for saving me. I love you."
"Hmm..." Vidushi snuggled into his chest.
She loved the way he said those three words.
Not because of his voice, but because of the genuine feelings behind them.
They had suffered at each other's hands in the past.
Hurt each other.
But then they had also done something beautiful.
They had healed each other.
He had taught to love, love someone selflessly.
And she had taught him to love again, love someone unconditionally.
They had found love in a hopeless place.
And that love had given them hope.
"I love you too" she yawned.
They slept, finding peace and comfort in each others arms.

Those 50 sentences were written in 2012. I had a bad case of the crush bug and I modified it to be Vidarth appropriate.
Do tell me what you think!
Love,
