New Delhi: Amidst an admiring mob of journalists (mostly women), Pakistani actor Fawad Khan looked a little lost. Sitting down under the bright lights for the press interaction for his first Bollywood film 'Khoobsurat', Khan answered the press questions briefly and simply.

His upcoming film 'Khoobsurat' by Disney is a remake of Rekha's 1980 film 'Khubsoorat'. Along with Khan and Kapoor, the film stars Ratna Pathak-Shah and Kirron Kher in key roles. The film will hit the theatres this Friday.

During the course of the media interaction, Khan bashfully confessed that he is shy, but he faced no problems while working with Kapoor. "Sonam is a chatterbox, full of energy. Actually, she's like the Energizer Bunny," chuckled Khan.

Laughing at her co-star's teasing, Kapoor added, "Actually, I didn't give him a chance to feel bashful or shy. I met him, said, 'Hiii!' and didn't stop after that," she laughed.

Talking about his female fan following in India, Khan said, "What can I say, I am grateful and honoured. But while I can enjoy the feeling, I cannot taste the fruit," he added with a grin.

I agree the most swooning population in India for Fk are none other than the
Journos. They gushed l7ke anything
Yesterday pooja Talwar looked like so lost in his words. I find it extremely sweet though.

For someone coming from the other side of the border (Pakistan), seeing the Indo-Pak beating the retreat ceremony (also known as flag-lowering) from the Indian end can be a thrilling experience.

And latest to go through the high-decibel and adrenaline rushing exercise is the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who along with SonamKapoor and actress-turned-politician KirronKher, will make a halt at the Wagah Border in Amritsar on Wednesday evening. The trip is being planned to promote their upcoming film Khoobsurat. According to the sources, the activity will have a great impact, for thousands of people, at sundown, visit the international border to witness the perfectly matched steps of BSF jawans and Pak rangers. The actors will stay for more than an hour at the border area and will sit with the crowds to see the drill, which apart from angry glances, has an elaborate saluting and foot stomping session.

We hear Fawad is quite kicked about the visit and is looking to root for his country from the Indian side. There's going to be a heavy security arrangement for the celebrities, especially Fawad, and the police along with the Amritsar administration has been told about it. Fawad and Sonam are likely to see their Pakistani fans from close, as after the gates are slammed shut, the people are allowed to stand near the gates for some time.
With Sonam Kapoor not visiting Pak to prmote Khoobsurat, the Wagah activity will help her connect with the Pakistani fans.

Oh ok, I thought so too but then thought its surprising to see that comment coming from reticent, composed Fk who gets embarassed when asked about his sex appeal. Chalo he is getting more easy, free type with time.

In another interview he said that he couldnt be excited about meeting Sonam as he is married. 😆
