Chapter 6
As Vampires don't sleep, Anshuman was thinking about Preet and the moments he saw her, all night. When he realized he was actually thinking about his enemy, he moved to thinking how to get close to her.
Next day...
Preet was walking through the corridors of the Palace, thinking what would she do now. Her parents left her alone, now she was all alone. She had a great responsibility of herself and the Moon Stone but she was still unaware how precious her powers were.
This was her own home but yet she was unaware of many things in this Palace. This was still a mystery to her. She needed to know many things about her ancestors, their Holy Book, her powers and this Palace.
Thus, she decided to practice magic and explore the whole Palace.
Daisa came to her.
Daisa: Su-Prabhat, Ranisa.
Preet nodded.
Daisa: Kal Anshuman aya hai.
Preet: Anshuman! Kaha hai?
Daisa: Vo raat ko aya hai, lekin aap soo gayi iss liye mil nehi paya. To maine socha...use yehi rok leti hu. Vo raat ko yehi ruka tha.
Preet: Vo raat se yehi pe hai?
Deepak intervened into the conversation.
Deepak: Dekha aapne, Daisa? Maine kaha tha na, Ranisa ko bilkul pasand nehi ayega ki Anshuman yaha pe ruke. Ranisa, maine to Daisa ko pehle hi kaha tha lekin...(Preet interrupted)
Preet: Daisa, aapne bilkul thik kia!
Deepak was surprised.
Deepak: Lekin...
Preet: (strongly)Deepak, ek humesha yaad rakhna! Dehradun ki Rani mai hu, yaha wahi hota hai jo mai chahti hu. Kaun sahi hai aur kaun galat isska fyasla mai karungi.
Deepak: Haan, Ranisa, mai janta hu. Lekin Raja sahab humesha kehte the iss Haveli mei koi anjaan nehi aa sakta.
Preet: (strongly)Mai janti hu. Raja Utkarshh aur Rani Disha ke baad ab iss Haveli ki zimmedari mere upar hai. Iss liye ab mera hukum chalega. Samjhe?
Deepak: (bowing down head)Ji, Ranisa, jaisa aap kahe.
Preet: Hmmm. Daisa, chaliye.
Daisa nodded and followed Preet. Deepak didn't like this attitude of Preet at all and was confused.
Preet and Daisa walked to meet Anshuman. He was standing in the hall in front of a big and wide bookshelf.
Daisa: Ranisa, vo raha aapka mehmaan.
Preet slowly walked close to him and stood just behind him. Anshuman also sensed someone behind him. So he turned without knowing that she was just behind him. His turning made her slip and she closed her eyes. But Anshuman saved her like before.
She felt the same strong arms which she felt at the jungle. But this time when she opened her eyes, he didn't disappear... He was right in front of her.
And...they meet for the first time!

Preet: Thanks. But...don't you think aaj ke liye kuch zyada flirting ho rahi hai?

Anshuman: Tumne mujhe abtak nehi bataya...mujhe yaha kyu bulaya?
Preet: Meri painting banane. Jab mere paas vo sketch pohchi to maine socha itna achchha painter ko aise jaane nehi dena chahiye. So...here you are!
Anshuman: Ye aur bhi bohot achchha hua! Meri kismat kitni achchhi hai jo Rani Preet Thakur khud mujhe apni painting banane ko bol rahi hai!
Preet: To chale?
Anshuman: Ya, sure!
They walked further.
They reached a room, she opened the door.

Finally, Preet moved who was sitting like a statue till now.

She walked to the canvas and was amazed to see it.
Preet: Wah! Aisa lag raha hai ye koi tasveer nehi khud mai hu. So realistic! Sach mei, you're an awesome artist! Thank you.
Anshuman: Thank you to you too, ki tum tin ghante se bina hile baethi thi. Hats off!
Preet: (smiles)Tumhare jaise itne kabil artist ke mai kuch kaam aake...mujhe khushi huyi.
Daisa, with 2 servants behind with trays, knocked on the door.
Preet: Aiye.
They entered.
Daisa: Umeed karti hu maine apko dono ke baaton mei rukavat nehi dali.
Preet: Are nehi, Daisa, aap kabhi rukavat ho hi nehi sakti!
Daisa: Ranisa, ye kuch nashta aap donoke liye.
The servants kept them on a coffee table.
Preet: Oh! Anshuman, mai to tumhe innse milvana hi bhul gayi. Ye hai Daisa, jo mere janam se bhi pehle se meri dekhbhal kar rahi hai.
Anshuman: Owww...
Preet: Oh! Mai to bhul hi gayi. Daisa, dekhiye na, Anshuman ne meri painting banayi hai. Aap hi bataiye kaisa bana hai?
Preet showed her the portrait.
Daisa: Vakay mei, bohot khubsurat banaya hai aapne.

Daisa: Aap dono baethiye aur nashta kijiye hum chalte hai.
Daisa left with the servants. PreeMan settled themselves on the chairs and had the snacks.
