i loved that line, but here is my take on Jodha's lack of trust. As i see it there is a difference between trust and belief when it comes to relationships. Trust is a deeper word than belief, it is having complete confidence in another person, belief is more temporary it is being convinced of something for a select time frame. If you believe someone long enough - that's where trust begins.
Jodha does believe that Jalal loves her, but when she sees Jalal and Atifa together, when Ruk tells her that Jalal took Atifa for shikaar after lying to her, when Jalal so vehemently says that he loves Atifa...her beliefs shift.
But in desperate times it is Jodha's trust which makes her tell KZ that shahensha will come for her, it is her trust which makes her call out his name when she is drowing. It is her trust that makes her hug him after he rescues her, despite knowing the how angry he will be with her.
Jodha's beliefs may be misplaced for now, but her trust in Jalal is strong as ever.
