res!
Just a thought before my full write up - didn't Paro's entry also involve a lot of running across the sands, whilst Myrah runs across washing lines - the start of similar situations?
Also both Paro and Myrah were/are about to marry other people!
OK back with the take @JJ very funny take on Myrah and Shatabdi similarities - to turn myrah into paro, you need a Rudra and a dhruv! or some magical kamaal twist the CVs have up their sleeve!
I do not know where the CVs will take this but i really hope since they killed Paro - it's not just for a plot change - maybe they can bring out deeper themes - how do you cope when you lose your soulmate and mother/father - are you disloyal if you move on? can you ever truly move on? can life ever be the same? can it be better? will it be worse? Can true love be found again or is it once in a lifetime? are the characteristics of the ones you lost evident in other people now? dealing with death is a serious business and we will all lose people close to us at some point in life so I sincerely hope that the CVs deal with these issues in sensitive and thought-provoking manner - even if Myrah is eventually found to be Paro in whole or part - it would be awesome for the CVs to explore these questions.
@Diya great takes - loved pace of episode too -much more normal - we had out burst of intensity and we are now worn out and broken
I liked the references to Paro - she is too important to just forget, and ashish and the kid playing Dhruv brougt out their yearning for her beautifully
Mohini-Sumar and Shatabdi ( and Koel) providing comic relief - much needed - Mohini with all her super smart evilness just seems to be losing all the time - maybe she left her success in the old haveli! Mind you i am not even sure which haveli they are in now
@Tennessean - wonderful moments again loved the WISH acrostic - there was a lot of wishing and yearning in yesterday's episode!
Sanaya is of course amazing as Myrah - she's so 'in your face guys' and am not surprised that she managed to switch characters so easily - such is her depth of acting ability - it's not an easy feat to make the same person cry and laugh in the same episode just because of your acting!
agree Dhruv is totally Paro (except his sleeping style!)
@ Minnu - agree liked the more normal paced episode that seemed to have the right mix of everything and happy Paro is not forgotten by the CVs
baby steps romance between Rudra and Myrah much more palatable! the impending 10 day wedding is a pressure though
and yes grieving takes time - take as long as you need to do it - that's what I mean CVs need to explore death and its ramifications more sensitively for all our sakes
@ Shwets - wonderful collages again - glad you watched yesterday's episode!
i loved all your quotes, especially the one from Soren Kierkeegard - very true
@ shutter - Mathali is indeed the parent - what a great one she is as well - how beautifully she is giving her love to those kids and how much they love her back and respect her
@POV - great take - Sanaya is indeed amazing - she even admoits to being like Myrah herself - even though we all knew it!
@aaliah - myrah is so far an amazing high-spirited character - I still see similarities to Paro ( apart from the same actress playing her!)
@Krishna it does hurt - but things get better with time
@tulip agree - v cute kids
wonderful takes everybody - love this thread!
Can't think of a song today - so will wait for tonight's episode
