I too am glad that the essence of Paro is not erased. Thank u CVs.
She may have pressurized him but ultimately his wife holds the belt - literally 😆😆
And she may not want more than one child too. Both of them... They behave like her siblings than parent. Maithili is more of a parent 😆😆

My prayer too to CVs - baby steps, deep breaths. Learn some yoga 😛 and give a dhasu dhamaka and give Paro back 😆😳

Sagi, I keep missing you every day. How are you? Thanks for the reply and all the hugs.. 🤗... I am feeling better already 😛. I am a very emotional person, Sagi... It was painful for me to sit through the episode... It is like yesterday's pain was back again with full force... Any way, I too am happy that CV's didn't forget our Paro completely... Shatabdi and Sumeer were hilarious.. I very much needed them... Even their daughter was telling them not to fight like kids😆... I agree, Maithili always had that motherly instinct in her...

@bold, I keep telling (more like Jaap) the same thing.. Hope they listen to us at least this time around... Enough of the Jet speed tracks.. I want a slow, steady and a little stretched track.. I never in my wildest dream imagined, I would ask for a slow paced episodes... 😛... Yoga is a great idea for them😉

By the way, the new montage is impressive.. Rudra looks like Salman Khan from bodyguard with his Bluetooth headset and three piece suit... And Sanaya looks fabulous!! Why Sanaya and not Paro or Myrah?? Because am not sure which one is her... 😛

I liked the montage too... And it made me wonder, if the CV's are planning on going the 'Body Guard' way now, as the Shiv-Paravati parallel has ended... I really hope not.😳

@bold, Hahaha well said... 😃

Am doing good, was not good this week. Women problem and reel world problems!! So imagine my condition. Luckily I am not sobbing my heart out else they would have thrown me out of the house or mental asylum for sure 😆

today did u somewhere get an IPK feel with RR tadka - and the suit. he looks bulkier.. i know everyone is raving about the black and white, but I am not too impressed. Nothing beats the major saab and his uniform.

to top it the way she called Rudra in the BTS, it sound so much like Paro 😲

Thank you Ladies for All your Takes!

Much like Today's title post I am feeling slightly lost somewhere between the Past & the Present Rangrasiya world.

My eyes welled up at the mere mention of Paro in tonight's episode though those were the very scenes that drew me in...where I felt a connection to the story, to Rangrasiya.

I am looking forward to how this story unfolds and seeing more scenes from "Sweet cheeks" Dhruv as he is an absolute delight to watch as is Koel but Myrah is no Paro and that's gonna take some time to get used to!

Lovely posts Diya, T, UR and everyone else...
What an emotional episode. I think my tear glands are going to dry up if this onslaught continues...

Paro is very much alive...In the barely controlled pain in Rudra's eyes, in his hollow, empty heart, in the smiling facade that he shows to the world..and in the tenderness for the child that is so like his beloved wife...
At Paro's altar...His eyes...Gosh! Ashish is brilliant. I've not seen an actor who's eyes just draw you in so completely, that you forget he's enacting a part!! There was just so much pain there...such overwhelming sadness...such loneliness...
He might think he's failing her, but she would be proud of him now...He's a great father. He might still stumble and need some help handling his son, but the love that pours out of his eyes for the little guy is just...undeniably beautiful...

There was another moment which was heartwrenching. The tickling scene. Rudra at Maithili's insistence decides to try the tickle approach to wake up his dreaming son...he approaches tentatively, not sure if it will work and when his little boy reacts to the tickle, he immediately responds with his trademark quick smile which dissolves into pain moments later...That was just so unbearable...If paro had been with him, he would've relived his childhood, that he never had, with his son, sharing these little moments of pleasure with his wife. Those infectious smiles would've creased his face more often...

The kid...what do I say...I can't grasp how these children understand these nuances of acting, even if they are explained to them by the director...his innocent longing for his mother breaks your heart.
Two moments stood out for me..One, when after keeping the rose at his mom's altar, he folds his little hands to pray to her...with all the reverence and sincerity that his little heart could muster...That had me tearing up...
And then, of course, the painfully sweet dream of his mother and how his words trail away at his father's ill-concealed pain...a child...showing a sensitivity and wisdom beyond his years, trying to offer words of apology and comfort...just like his mother would've done...the amrood-jaisa-chota-sa face when his father almost runs out hearing his dream...Gosh! Let these two find some happiness, please!!!

As for Myrah...I don't know...She's very different from Paro...I'll wait to see her interactions with Rudra...I'm still holding on to the hope that she IS paro, but...let's see...

The precap stunned me...the little boy, in shock, uttering mummy, mamma...God! I hope Myra reacts sensitively...

On a completely different note,
I love Rudra's new bodyguard look. Black suits him. A LOT.
And, I loved the BTS of Rudra-Myra's first meeting. Ashish and Sanaya have fabulous chemistry...the inflammable kind...😆

Oh! looks like you are having a tough week🤗.. Good for you that you are not sobbing... Yesterday a friend called, a minute into the conversation and she realized something was off with me. She was polite enough to not pull my leg for sulking over Paro (She doesn't watch RR). And my poor husband was confused at his wife's grief over a fictional character... But he knows me well, so was not surprised😆...

I am totally with you, Sagi... BSD Uniform was what made Rudra different from all those other ML of tele shows... But now... Sigh! I loved Rudra in his uniform.. I still remember the dashing Major who killed terrorists ruthlessly in those beautiful initial days of RR... I will miss him... The realization of loosing that Rudra is painful too... I just hope CV's know what they are doing... Because I really don't understand them anymore...

Ya, calling him 'Rudra' 🥺. I always loved Paro calling him that.. I even wished she called him that instead of Major saab.. But now I don't want anyone calling him that.. Watching this new story is going to be hard, isn't it?? Moving on from PaRud and Paro to a new chapter is going to be really tough...

res!
Just a thought before my full write up - didn't Paro's entry also involve a lot of running across the sands, whilst Myrah runs across washing lines - the start of similar situations?
Also both Paro and Myrah were/are about to marry other people!
OK back with the take @JJ very funny take on Myrah and Shatabdi similarities - to turn myrah into paro, you need a Rudra and a dhruv! or some magical kamaal twist the CVs have up their sleeve!

I do not know where the CVs will take this but i really hope since they killed Paro - it's not just for a plot change - maybe they can bring out deeper themes - how do you cope when you lose your soulmate and mother/father - are you disloyal if you move on? can you ever truly move on? can life ever be the same? can it be better? will it be worse? Can true love be found again or is it once in a lifetime? are the characteristics of the ones you lost evident in other people now? dealing with death is a serious business and we will all lose people close to us at some point in life so I sincerely hope that the CVs deal with these issues in sensitive and thought-provoking manner - even if Myrah is eventually found to be Paro in whole or part - it would be awesome for the CVs to explore these questions.

@Diya great takes - loved pace of episode too -much more normal - we had out burst of intensity and we are now worn out and broken
I liked the references to Paro - she is too important to just forget, and ashish and the kid playing Dhruv brougt out their yearning for her beautifully

Mohini-Sumar and Shatabdi ( and Koel) providing comic relief - much needed - Mohini with all her super smart evilness just seems to be losing all the time - maybe she left her success in the old haveli! Mind you i am not even sure which haveli they are in now
@Tennessean - wonderful moments again loved the WISH acrostic - there was a lot of wishing and yearning in yesterday's episode!
Sanaya is of course amazing as Myrah - she's so 'in your face guys' and am not surprised that she managed to switch characters so easily - such is her depth of acting ability - it's not an easy feat to make the same person cry and laugh in the same episode just because of your acting!
agree Dhruv is totally Paro (except his sleeping style!)
@ Minnu - agree liked the more normal paced episode that seemed to have the right mix of everything and happy Paro is not forgotten by the CVs
baby steps romance between Rudra and Myrah much more palatable! the impending 10 day wedding is a pressure though
and yes grieving takes time - take as long as you need to do it - that's what I mean CVs need to explore death and its ramifications more sensitively for all our sakes
@ Shwets - wonderful collages again - glad you watched yesterday's episode!
i loved all your quotes, especially the one from Soren Kierkeegard - very true

@ shutter - Mathali is indeed the parent - what a great one she is as well - how beautifully she is giving her love to those kids and how much they love her back and respect her
@POV - great take - Sanaya is indeed amazing - she even admoits to being like Myrah herself - even though we all knew it!
@aaliah - myrah is so far an amazing high-spirited character - I still see similarities to Paro ( apart from the same actress playing her!)
@Krishna it does hurt - but things get better with time
@tulip agree - v cute kids

wonderful takes everybody - love this thread!
Can't think of a song today - so will wait for tonight's episode

Dhruv's Birthday - Rudra's silence - Myrah's Entry.

Today's episode is more emotional one for me. It took from where we left yesterday. It showed the big gap in Rudra and Dhruv life. Though we have Maithili to take care of the kid as a mom the kid misses his mom. A mother who is a part of his father. Rudra has stopped himself there with Paro. He kinda silensed himself from his own self.

Sumer and Shatabdi daughter is a mix of her mom and dadi. She is full of cuteness in a playful way.I was so happy to see the bond she share with Dhruv. Its nice to see Maithili being more of a mom to both the kids and handling with all love and care they should get from the mom. She is more like a god mother to the kids. So nice

Dhruv and Rudra talks about Paro and they keep the Rose for her and Rudra talks to his Paro. I felt really sad at this point for Rudra on what he has been missing in his life, his Paro. Dhruv made a wish and cuts his cake, even at that time Rudra remembers his wish to have Paro always.
Koel and Dhruv talks abt Dhruv wish and knows more about Paro. Dhruv wants to have a mom may not the same but some one who is nice like his mom , he kinda understands that his father has taken a full stop in his mind and he just living a life.

Myrah entry. She is full of sprit. A girl from todays world. She comes here to finalize her wedding venue with a friend. She is not in this marriage for love she is accepting someone she knew as her husband. Hmmm interesting!!! As we all know she is here to fall in love aren't we?.

Then the dream of Dhruv and how Rudra silenses him and asking to wake up. He kinda skips the situation by not staying there more. His loss is so much that he is going on with life for the promise he said to Paro and trying to be a good dad and bringing up his son in good way unlike him. Kudos to Paro to make him a man.

Though i miss Paro badly i felt that Rudra and Paro has come to a steady state. So any tracks were played out may be its more like some other story in which they play a part and not the story of them ( may be i want to convince myself to go on with story). Though they would have played out so many other options i'm ready to see how it goes from here. I'm the one was asking time to adjust but thanks to the actors the transition was made neatly.

Rudra loves Paro. He knows she is gone and Myrah is someone else. The only reason that she looks like Paro wont make rudra fall in love with her. He may feel so sad and much more guilty on seeing a look alike of Paro but he has to protect her which is his job. It wont be easy for him to go ahead and protect myrah on her wedding planning. Its pure torture for him to go thru it though he knows its not paro its not easy for him to see her off. On the other hand myrah can fall in love with rudra and her biggest block to get her love is that she looks like paro. She has to get the depth to accept a man with deep first love and a kid. Hope this plays out neatly and we get to see AS and SI as Rudra and Myrah. I have so much belief in the actor that they will play out very good but dont know why i dont have the belief in the writers and the channel. Every other day comes with something or the other news which makes me sad. Looking forward with hope :-)

You have summarized the whole episode beautifully and I like what you have written in red.😊
Dhruv misses his mom so badly and that is why he made that birthday wish. I loved how Maithili is in control of both the kids and they listen to her as Shatabdi mentioned. Rudra's silence made me so sad today and the flashback put me in tears. Dhruv wants his mom back and he feels connected to Myrah in the first place.

Paro has changed Rudra and he has been a good and a doting dad. I know that it won't be easy protecting Myrah but being the professional that he is, Rudra will take full care of Myrah. I think Myrah's job will become easier because Dhruv will be on her side.😊

I am hoping like you for the best here.😊
