Another great post Nikki! And a lovely comment on the accident track too👏!
The track delivered what it promised and gave us some mind-blowing IshRa moments - it tried our patience too - but that's what made the culmination of the track that much more fulfilling since all loose ends were tied up satisfactorily and the uniqueness of YHM remained intact.
The icing on the cake were the varied emotions that IshRa went through from the start of the track to the end today.
The Caring phase: Raman bringing Amma to the hospital, managing the entire family during the crisis and my most fav IshRa scene - the night at the hospital. That one scene showed them move from just care and being Ruhi's parents - to being friends and confidantes.
The Friendship and mutual attraction phase : Raman doing a lot for Ishita's family and for her and Ishita reciprocating by standing up for Raman and starting to trust and believe in him more than she would in 'just a friend'😳.They also felt a tug of attraction in the pre and post - Iyer family function scenes.
The trust and promises phase : The party scenes and therafter - where IshRa almost renewed their wedding vows - made new promises to trust each other and confide in each other. And walk together for the sake of both their children - Ruhi and Adi.
The jealousy and betrayal phase : Every relationship needs to go through a trial by fire at some point and it was a great turn by the CVs to introduce this phase at a very delicate point in IshRa's relationship. The fact that Ishita got affected by the entire turn of events was a clear indication of the change in her own acceptance of her relationship with Raman. It lead to so many 'almost' confessions, a lot of pain and hurt, but also the start of a new phase in IshRa's relationship where both of them have accepted that they will now come first for each other before anyone else.
The redemption phase: I always believed that this track was always meant for Raman to realize that ishita would always stand by him - and that he needed to find that out for himself and open up to her without anyone prodding him.And glad the CVs showed the redemption exactly like that. It reinforced Ishita's belief in Raman always standing for the right thing - and his own initiative to talk to her literally floored her. And for Raman - he finally broke his biggest barrier - and he would now not think twice before opening up to Ishita about anything. That is the best progression that happened with this track!
Now stage set for Confessions and some happy times hopefully - it will be a torturous wait - but am sure would be worth it😆.
And coming to yesterday's IshRa scene - you have so neatly bajaaoed Ishita that there is hardly anything left to say😆.
But your screen cap - is this the one right at the end of the scene - when Raman looks away and wipes his tears and Ishita looks down and then up at him once more? That one instance just took the scene elsewhere for me. That look wasn't of pride, hurt or concern - it was just pure love.
In that moment I think Ishita accepted the love she had for Raman - and she didn't care to conceal or mask it in any way - she is finally not afraid to let her eyes speak of her feelings 😳 and words are just a matter of time😉!
