Because we need an excuse to go gaga over him. And what better day to do it on than the one marking the return of this big, bad wolf to the small screen.
Man Candy Mondays, as a concept, was started to laud the many, many fine men who make our TV screens and our celeb crush lists a happier place. And here are seven reasons why Rithvik Dhanjani totally deserves the honor:
Because werewolves, on a whole, have some incredibly hunky standards to live up to, and Rithvik totally looks the part.
Given the amount of shirt - ripping the role of a werewolf involves, we can only feel devoutly grateful that we've got someone worthy for an ambassador.
Which basically makes him our claim to Taylor Lautner fame.
Going
purely on the basis of their individual hunkiness, it looks like Taylor
has got himself competition - Know that this isn't a statement we make
lightly.
Because at the same time, there remains no denying that he has got the acting chops as well.
Barely two daily soaps old and Rithvik had already conjured up a devoted fan following. Now, of course, that may have had something to do with the fact that he looks absolutely divine without a shirt, but well, you get our point.
Because he can effortlessly burn up the dancefloor.
As proved by the fact that he has yet to enter a dance reality show in which he hasn't finished in the top three.
A fact that you can verify for yourself with a hop, skip and jump over to his Instagram feed which is a study in amazing couple selfies. Color us jealous.
Because he's basically the best boyfriend anyone has ever had.
In spite of being an actor himself, he loses no chance to support co-star-slash-fiance Asha Negi in her career. Insecurities and flighty tantrums are for em lesser mortals.
Because he gets fashion in a way that few men do.
Far be it from us to not applaud a guy who actually understands the importance of designer shirts. And the importance of keeping them off.
