I feel like this movie is too hyped and might not be as great as everyone is expecting it to be. Most movies that are overhyped turn out to be duds, even the Khans have had overhyped films that have not done as well as they should have (Jai Ho, Ra1, Veer, Talash) By THEIR standards the movies didn't do well.

I think its tough for BV< first of all its a period film, which lets be honest no one cares about. How many period films have been successful? Also, Ranbir fans are acting too cocky and overconfident - just like they did with Besharam.

Another reason the movie might fail is because some people don't like the Horror movie genre. I mean, if Anushka's in the movie, then there is bound to be some kind of horror element right? especially with that face of hers.

I am doubtful about it being a commercial success because of the budget. .. It will fetch ranbir an award though .

Anyway Anurag Kashyap's films are not for common man who wants only entertainment. So, I doubt too about BV's success.

The film has never been expected to do well at the BO. It will appeal to the audience that likes those type of movies. BO success does not necessarily determine QUALITY. We have all seen terrible movies that work well at the BO and even good movies that work well at the BO.

I am going to watch the trailer before deciding BO fate and quality.

😆 Okay. . Rephrasing - I feel it will fetch him an award because I think it is going to be a good challenging role. .. The kinda role that fetches you awards .. Like a Barfi or Jordan. .. And not a relatively easy role like bunny from yjhd .

Whenever he has played such roles he has usually won. .

So my gut says he will win awards for bv
