PURVI: The Real Cop

30TH JULY, 2011 was the day when in CID we saw the excellence of Inspector Purvi, who was disguised as a night club goer. She had the real intention of catching the culprits red handed.

Purvi, showed her excellent, Brave and fearless and first stunt with Daya sir in the Case "Kissa ravan Dehan ka".

Next is the Purvi Centric case, CID mein Gaddar which marked her Dedication for the team and love for her parents.

This case showed the soft side of ACP sir-a father like seniour for his most loyal and courageous CID officer. His motivational words for Purvi and his care for her was again so wonderful.

In Case Maut Ki Aawaz, it was so sweet to see Salukhey sir showing his concern for Purvi with his remarkable and motivating words.."Bacche, Tumhe kuch nahi hoga,abhi toh apko bohot medals jeethne hai"

In "TARGET 15TH AUGUST", we saw Inspector Purvi taking charge of the situation and her keen effort to protect her country was indeed amazing. Her Changing of Voice to gain information from That of Anuradha to Pallavi was just awesome.

After Target 15th August, CID KI KIDNAPPING is another display of the excellent and most scary stunt by Purvi, to protect her team. Purvi's willingness to sacrifice her life for her team was amazing indeed.

Seniour Inspector Abhijeet and Daya sir showed their concern for their caring and dedicated Juniour.

In the same case Team's concern for Purvi, and ACP sir's fianl note for her " Hum CID walo Ko Kuch nahi hota, aur na hi hum tumhe kuch hone denge" was amazing.

Next is SAMOHAN KE HATYA, in which Purvi hung out of a moving car to stop the criminals car. This was again the sign of Purvi's bravery and fearless work for her duty.

Maut Ka Telephone, this was the case where Purvi, as a social activist plays a small drama against female foeticide in country. The Kind of emotions , the kind of bravery, and the fire in Purvi's eyes was just applaudable.

She proves herself as a real Female pillar of CID.

In Box mein hatya, Purvi again took a side mission to free a girl from a bunch of guys with evil intentions. The fight sequence in the concerned case was a mark of woman power and strength.

Purvi always have proved that females can stand on equal footage as that of man.

The dailogue of Purvi in same case"Tedhi baat ko seedha karna hume aata hai", the expressions on her face showed the fire in her eyes to bring justice for the girl against the people who were doing evil deeds.

THE EPISODE DIAMOND ROBBERY, needs speacial mention which showed her dedication, her love, her concern and valiant work. This epsidoe proved that Purvi in order to save her seniour can go through any hardships or struggles.

The way she swung with the rope and hung in mid air while saving her most respected seniour Inspector Abhijeet sir was indeed best stunt by a female cop in CID's history.

Next in line is her most daring stunt in case "Ahmedabad mein faraar Daya" , where she was disguised as begum with Abhijeet sir displaying another incredible stunt in boat doing fight sequence in turbulant waters,

this again proved the dedication for her duty.

Another case was shark attack, where Purvi once again showed most remarkable Scuba dive stunt.

The case "khaufnak haveli" even showed some great bond of Purvi with each and every team member of CID. DCP chitrole touching words for Purvi saying "Purvi, toh meri beti jaisi hai."

"Lift Mein Anhoni" is a Purvi centric case in which Purvi was victimised by DCP chitrole for a crime which she had never committed and it was wonderful to see how she proved herself innocent.

The Praising and proud applauds by the team at the end of case and Purvi's brave and Proud smile for her team was amazing again.

Next is "sabooton ka rahasya" the case in which Purvi proves to her most ccaring and fatherly seniour ACP sir that his choice is undoubtedly right in choosing her ahead of any other cop.

Purvi's unbeatable fight with the lady was indeed very wonderful.

The Most wonderful display of charm and brave sword fight "case of Jaadu punar janam ka" was so Inspiring and courageous.

This case again showed ACP sir's trust in his Loyal CID inspector Purvi and Purvi proved herself as much as she can till the end of case in the mission which she was sent.

Purvi has shown her concern and care for her each and every team mate.. she is not only loyal towards her duty but also cares a lot for her team. Her Country,Duty and Team comes first for her than her ownself.

Purvi is not just a most sweet and Brave cop, But she cares for her team from bottom of her heart.

Purvi shares very Incredible Bond with her team. Purvi shares good friendly bond with shreya and Dr. Traika too.

In Case Bank Ka Khooni Raaz, Purvi again shows her care and concern for her most respectable seniour freddy sir when he is hurt by the bullet.

Purvi not only is Perfect in stunts but also she is the "Disguise queen of CID"

Episode no. 808, "khooni keel where Purvi Disguised herself as Toy seller. Episode 871, "rahasya bachchi ka" Purvi portrayed herself in disguise of a marathi fish seller, a machchi waali.

In episode"heroine ko khatra" Purvi disguised herself as a foreign drug addicts along with sachin. It showed that Purvi was willing to do everything for her team.

In Case room no 303, Purvi along with team disguised as NGO worker.

In episode 897, "khooni kitaab ka rahasya" Purvi's disguise as a librarian was remarkable too.

episode 988, "maut ka telephone: part 2". This was Powerful and socially relevant disguise. In "the mouse-trap" Purvi portrayed Two disguise which were also a lot remarkable.

One was  machchi-waali disguise, to gain more information about a suspect, where she had a hidden camera, fixed to her attire and other disguised as male tapori guy.

episode 1009, "satara ,mein khoon" Purvi and Shreya in a disguise did a dance performance. In episode "ahmedabad mein daya faraar " Purvi disguised as a begum of Abhijeet sir performed a most dangerous stunt in turbulant waters.

In "mumbai ke chawl ka rahasya" Purvi disguised herself as little funny, shy wife. It was so sweet to see her playing around with the criminals. It was so remarkable to see a shift of expression on her face from funny to strict and a determind cop at the final stage to catch the criminals.

Purvi's disguise in "Jaadu punar janam ka" with freddy sir was indeed a cute and sweet one.

Dedication, focused investigation, sharp mind, Love for nation and her duty, energetic performances, unbeatable stunts, bond with the team and her wonderful disguises makes her one of the respectable and inspiring cops of CID.

Inspector Purvi, is undoubtedly a perfect blend of Innocence,Bravery and courage.She is a most Inspring and most courageous Inspectors of CID . No wonder, Purvi has become an inseparable part of CID Family.

Purvi - The Real Cop

What is a "real cop" made of, to be precise? What do we expect from him/her? Regardless of the answer, one thing is for certain - any cop in our show, especially newcomers, have enormous shoes to fill. It is a testament to her talent and effort that Ansha Sayed, bringing to life the character of Inspector Purvi on screen, has won numerous fans and significant acclaim in a fairly short period of time. She is significantly different from those who came before her, though she retains many of their cherished virtues. She possesses a tough, no-nonsense aura like Asha and cuteness and innocence like Tasha. In her very first episode we got to see her quality bonding and respect for Abhijeet sir and Freddy sir as they worked together to bring down a gang of criminals in disguise. Although she had a certain level of hesitancy in the initial days, she proved herself to be an able and worthy cop very soon. She's fearless and adept while performing daring stunts in episodes like Buland Hosale, Sammohan Se Hatya, CID Ki Kidnapping, Diamond Robbery and many more.

With her impeccable action scenes she's served as a true role model for the power of women all across the viewers. However, her strength lies not merely in brawn but brain. She's also an adept and efficient investigator with a sharp eye for clues when assisting her seniors at crime scenes. She possesses significant technical prowess at the computer and is second only to our "Famous Five" when it comes to the multitude of disguise scenes, each varied and staunchly different from the other, that she undertook in undercover missions for thwarting more elusive criminals. None of these virtues are as significant, however, as her wonderful bonding with her teammates. She's one of the most gregarious, humble and respectful members of the team who is considerate of everyone and minds her own business sincerely without getting involved in any kind of inappropriate issues.

She shares a wonderful daughterly relation with ACP Pradyuman, one we got to see in a multitude of episodes prominently including CID Mein Gadaar and CID Ki Kidnapping. Her respectful and loyal bonding with Abhijeet sir, Daya sir and Freddy sir have won appreciation from many. Dr. Salunkhe was among the first to support and encourage her, citing she'd go on to win several accolades and fame in CID - and his words came true in a wonderful manner. She never hesitates to risk herself for her teammates, for she considers them as her own family. I can only applaud both Ansha ma'am and the writers for doing justice to her character and bringing it to life so wonderfully on screen. I hope our wonderful officer Purvi continues to enthrall us with her charm and inspiring presence in CID for time immemorial

Theme 1: Abhijeet-Purvi Unexcelled Bond

When we speak of bonding, it is inevitable that we're reminded of the many excellent examples we've seen in CID from the beginning. Our show has always been acclaimed for the meticulously developed relationships between characters, be it Vivek and Fredericks, ACP Pradyuman and Abhijeet or the legendary duo of Abhijeet and Daya themselves. But it's common knowledge that the quality of writing has deteriorated for quite a while now, and as a result most of these relations suffered as well. Yet, out of the pond of all negatives in modern episodes, flowers of positivity have occasionally bloomed. One of them undoubtedly is the bonding between Abhijeet and Purvi. Now, I believe the bonding between two people needn't be worn on the sleeve. There's beauty in subtlety. The uniqueness of this bond stems from the fact that neither is it "official" nor is it shoved in the viewer's conscious. It's, in fact, free for interpretation. One can view it as a mere cordial formality, a strong senior-junior bond of respect and even a brother-sister bond as they construe.

For me their bonding is undeniable, perhaps because of the real life bonding between Aditya sir and Ansha ma'am which everyone who's ever met them has affirmed and which translates on screen in their characters as well. Abhijeet sir is the very first CID officer Purvi interacts with in her entry episode, where they work together to thwart a band of crooks. Time and again we see their understanding in little but noticeable ways, in their flawless investigation together in several episodes, most noticeably the penultimate Haridwar episode. In cases like "Khatre Mein Boogie Woogie" we see Purvi promptly going to Abhijeet sir's assistance without being asked at all, even if help was already coming. In his time of need, she's one of the few who always trusts him. Perhaps the most prominent example is in the climax of "Diamond Robbery" where Purvi single-handedly rescues Abhijeet sir in a daring stunt sequence, risking her own life. The little smiles of gratitude and respect they exchange at that moment speak more than a thousand words can. Similarily, Abhijeet sir rescues her in "Jaadu Punarjanam Ka". It's not merely a matter of exchanging favours or formal duty. Like he tells her during the Diwali scene, it's because they truly care for each other as family and are always there in the other's time of need.  Regardless of the quality of writing in the episodes, I'm sure the bonding between these wonderful people is strong enough for us to always cherish on screen in the future.
