Episode Raaz 3 Bullets Ka.
Scene : Busy Street
A man is travelling in his car driven by a chauffeur. He's speaking to someone on phone saying that he's not scared of anyone and that he doesn't care whether someone' bribes one person or 10 and that next day that person would know what happens when they rub Suraj' the wrong way...etc etc. The driver suspiciously glances at him.
The car reaches a wide road flanked by tall buildings. Suddenly there are 3 gun shots. The car's window glass is shattered, the driver loses control and the car rams into the road divider. People rush towards the car. Someone notices that the guy in the passenger seat is dead and calls CID. The driver sneaks away from the scene unnoticed.
Another identical car comes and stops near the car. A man gets off and asks the bystanders as to what had happened. One of them tells the man about the accident and murder. The guy who had got off the identical car gets worried and hurries away from the spot.
Scene : An office
The injured driver comes in and talks to the boss' whose face is not revealed He tells the boss that he has completed the assigned task of taking the car to the point they had asked him to. He asks the boss to release his wife and kids and promises that he will leave the town for good and never return. The boss's assistant gives the driver some money and lets him go.
Scene : Bureau
Sachin, Abhijeet, Purvi and the unnamed girl (sorry, I still don't know her name) look at the recording of a CCTV camera (installed on the road to catch speeding vehicles) But nothing is clear
Abhijeet notices 3 bikes around the car when the accident happened, and assume that these bikes are probably involved in the murder. Nikhil comes in and says that the driver of the car is absconding. Abhijeet asks him to find the driver's hometown address.
Scene: Forensic garage
Salunkhe explains that the first bullet had entered through one window and went out of the car through the other window. The second bullet had entered through the window and got lodged in the door of the car. The third bullet entered through the window hit the victim's neck, went through the neck into the seat of the car.
The new forensic guy (Vaibhav???) tries to take the bullet out of the seat but doesn't find it there. Salunkhe asks him to search for it in the boot of the car. The bullet is found in the boot.
Sachin, Shreya and 2 unnamed cops search the murder spot for the bullet which went out of the car through the glass. After some searching they find it.
Scene : Bureau
Nikhil is busy analysing the bikers images available in the CCTV footage. The bike's registration numbers are not clear but he manages to take screenshots of the guys' faces and sends them for matching with the CID records. One of the unnamed cops comes in and shows that one of them was available in their records and he was a known chain snatcher.
Scene: Street
2 girls are walking on the street, one of them wearing a gold chain. The chain snatcher and his accomplice approach her from behind and try to pull her chain. The girl turns and attacks him. She's none other than Shreya. The 2 guys are captured by CID team. Sachin gives a hard slap and the guys land on confession chairs.
Scene : Bureau
The 2 guys say that they have not committed any murder. Sachin shows them the photo of the other bike which was near the car and asks if they know the guy on the bike. The chain snatcher says that the guy in the photo is a supari killer and he knows his friend Ashok. Abhijeet asks him for the wherabouts of Ashok.
Scene : Road
Kavin, Freddie, Purvi and Pankaj and are waiting in the CID Innova waiting for someone. 2 guys come out of the building and walk towards a vada pav stall. CID team follows them there and asks the vada pav guy if he knows someone riding a black bike who owns a gun and shoots at moving cars. Hearing this, the 2 guys start running away. CID team catches both of them. (Some nice bike action by Freddie here. 😃)
Scene : A basti
The 2 guys captured by CID are brought to their house, faces covered with black masks. Purvi enters the house and starts searching all the vessels in the kitchen, wardrobes and drawers amid the protests of the lady there(one of the captured guy's wife). They find money and stolen items hidden in different places. CID team confiscates everything. Finally Purvi finds a pack of gold jewellery in a tin of atta and slaps the lady.
The lady goes out of the house and starts OTT crying (hayyeee mai lut gayiii...). Pankaj continues searching and finally finds the gun. Kavin asks him to send the gun to the forensic lab for matching the bullets.
(this entire scene was absolutely realistic, from how they covered the captured guys' faces to how cops search suspects houses and how criminals hide stuff in weird nooks and corners of the house).
Scene : Lab
Salunkhe, Tarika and Vaibhav check and find that 2 of the bullets were from the confiscated gun. Salunkhe asks Tarika to fire a third bullet from the same gun and match it with the third bullet while he goes out to meet ACP.
(I didn't understand why they had to fire 3 times from the same gun. One bullet would have been sufficient to match, right???)
Scene : Bureau
(At last Daya appears in this episode)
Tarika comes in and tells them that the third bullet is not matching and that Suraj wasn't killed by this particular gun. Daya asks the two of them as to where is the other gun. The guys say that they don't have any other gun. Daya wonders who had shot the third bullet and from where.
Scene : Forensic garage
Salunkhe scolds Vaibhav for not analysing the details of the third bullet like angle of the shot, elevation, velocity etc.
Salunkhe finds the exact spot in the boot where the bullet had hit. He checks the angle and concludes that the bullet was fired from an elevated point at 45degrees.
Scene : Murder spot - road.
Purvi measures 45 degrees and tells Abhijeet that the bullet was probably fired by a sniper from a building on the other side of the road. Abhijeet and Purvi enter the building and reach a hall which has large windows and from where the car could be clearly seen. Abhijeet also finds shoe prints at that point on the floor. Pankaj brings the watchman of the building who admits that one guy had given him money and entered the building. Abhijeet asks him to make a sketch of the sniper.
Scene : A village
The driver and his wife are trying to escape when Kavin, Freddie and 2 unnamed cops arrive there and capture them. The driver confesses that he had paid the supari killers and taken the car to that exact spot because his family was under threat. Freddie asks if he had also paid the sniper who shot at the car from top of the building. The driver says that he has no idea about any sniper. Kavin asks him as to who had asked him to engage the supari killers.
Scene : Office of the 'boss'
Kavin, Purvi, Pankaj and 2 unnamed cops enter the cabin of the boss who had asked the driver to get Suraj killed. It turns out to be a lady and she points a gun at Kavin. Pankaj engages her bodyguard outside.
Purvi reveals that the lady boss stood to gain by Suraj's death as she would gain control over 200 Cr worth of land. The lady tries to escape but Purvi catches and slaps her.
The lady confesses that she had only paid the bike guys but not the sniper. Kavin asks Praveen as to how he had hired the supari bike killers.. Praveen tells them about a guy wearing a red hat who had accepted the payment.
Scene : Road
Abhijeet, Purvi, Pankaj and 2 unknown cops start searching for the guy wearing the red hat. After some waiting, they find him collecting hafta' from streetside stalls. Abhijeet approaches him, gives him money and tells him to accept his hafta too as he's about to open a haddi pasli todne ki dukaan'. 😆 He then tells he's from CID. The guy in red hat runs off but CID team catches him. Abhijeet slaps him hard.
Purvi shows him the photo of the sniper (which the watchman had made) and asks him if he knows who he is. The red-hat guy says that he's Bablu and he had gone to correct his mistake. The mistake was that he had killed the wrong guy in the wrong black car and he had now gone to kill the right guy. Abhijeet realises that another murder was about to happen and they had to stop it.
Scene : Murder spot.
Abhijeet talks to a pan shop owner about what had happened on the day of the murder. The pan shop guy tells Abhijeet about the other identical car which had stopped near Suraj's car and how the guy in the other car was tensed. He tells Abhijeet that except for the registration numbers both the cars were identical. Abhijeet asks him if he remembers the registration number and the pan shop guy tells Abhijeet the number (Wow...that's some memory!)
Scene : Road
The other victim in the black car is going to the airport when CID arrives and stops his car. They ask him to get into the CID vehicle when someone shoots from above. CID team finds the sniper on top of a building. The sniper tries to escape but CID team catches him. The sniper finally reveals the name of the guy who had paid him.
The guy who was just now rescued (the other black car owner) is slapped and he lands on the floor. He confesses that he had engaged the sniper to kill his driver Praveen as he was blackmailing him. But the sniper had misunderstood and had tried to kill him instead. Daya tells him that he would go to jail for this.
(Was Praveen playing driver to 2 guys? 😕. Ok the sniper killed the wrong guy, but why was he trying to kill the man who had hired him...he should have gone in search of Praveen in the village, who was now captured by CID...the end was confusing)
