Since the day Jodha has taken Vishpan i am observing a completely new Hamida Bano. Hamida has started taking a lot of interest in her son's life. She always had interest in Jodha's life but not that much in Akbar's. The mistake was Akbar's to a large extent for her never gave her importance as much as Maham in his life and humiliated her quiet a few times in front of others. So may be Hamida was scared to approcah Jalal or speak her mind out except in domestic matters realted to Jodha.
But since Vishpan incident where Maham was aloof as Jodha was dying on bed Akbar found refuge in his mothers lap. Remember when he did pooja for kanha how she went and consoled a scared and crying Jalal, or how she consoled him to pray and wait as God will definetly return Jodha to him. This was further strengthened during this misunderstanding track how she odered him to go and get back Jodha while he was wasting his time in front of Jodha's picture???
We may think she was angry and scolding him but she was actually using carrot and stick policyof a parent. Here she used the stick to ensure Jalal realizes seriousness of his mistake and gets Jodha back. She is asking to get back her daughter but in reality she knows Jodha is his love which he has not acknowledged in front of her. So she is using clever startegy saying get my daughter back.
In this Suajmal incident only once Akbar was so confused he went to his mom to ask what to do if wife is hidding secret and then also she gave him perfect advice wait till person tells truth? But he never listened as Maham had spolied his brain about paraya mard thing.
What i feel is in Maham exposure track Hamida will truly evolve as a mother that Jalal thought he never had. Taali kabhi ek haath se nahi bajth./ Till now Hamida has tried one hand clap but Akbar has refused to clap hands with her. But Maham exposure will make him realize his mom may speak rudely with him but she always loves him and wishes best for him and is the only mother whom he can trust 1000%.
It will be interesting to watch how Jalal will break the barrier 20 years that kept him away from his birth mother. And how Hmaida shall respond to it? If you observe they still do not have a mother son relation its more Malika-e-aliya Shahenshah relation more formal. Jalal still cannot reveal his dil ki baat to hamida and Hamida herself told Salima about everything till now not to jalal any doubts any issues. Why i am not sure may be she is scared he will not trust her or humilate her in front of others?? Once bitten twice shy case is Hamida
On other hand Jalal always had maham and salima and ruqaiah to discuss any issue he never really required Hmaida till now so he never also built that bridge to cross over from hatred to trusting his mother.
I want a relationship where Hamida can tell all her doubts, thoufghts in mind to Jalal without hesitation same for Jalal too. That is still far away.
