The Adorable ProposalTwo days went by since Veera challenged Baldev to propose her. The last time she met him, she clearly told him that she would not talk to him, meet or pursue him anymore until he himself would come to her. She remembered how firmly she had said that to him without realizing what affect it would have on her. Surely she was regretting by then.
Frowning, she walked to her bed and almost prepared herself to sleep until she heard the sound of a bike's horn. She stood up, confused and headed towards the window, just then her eyes widened in surprise to see Baldev standing with a grin on his face, leaning on his bike. He gestured her to come down fast.
Suddenly Veera felt her heart fluttering and dancing. Her stomach had butterflies flying in it. A shy smile crept on her lips. Without caring about anything, she quickly wore sandals and ran downstairs in the same clothes. 'Ki hoya?' she said breathlessly.
'Mere naal chalegi abhi?' Baldev asked her in a heartfelt manner.
Veera thought for a while. 'Chal!' she responded with a slight smile without questioning any further.
Baldev sat on his bike and signaled Veera to sit on the backseat. She obliged. The moment he was about to start the engine, she slid both her arms around his, back-hugging him and tightly holding him so that she would not fall. They stared at each other and exchanged affectionate smiles.

Baldev and Veera arrived on a lonely street that was brightened by the moonlight. Veera looked around, baffled. She later glanced at Baldev and raised her eyebrows as if asking him why he brought her here.
Beaming calmly and contently, Baldev stared at her. 'Aye hi woh jagaah hai jaha maine peheli vaari aye mehsus kia ki... tere vaaste... dushmani se barkar bhi ek ehsaas hai mere dil vich... ek anjaana sa ehsaas...'
Veera looked at him, dumbfounded and lost. He continued, 'Pata hai Veera, uss din jab tainu apne janam se jude sachchi pata chali, aur maine tainu apne aakhon de saamne toot te huye vekha, tab ek ajeeb sa kuch hua dil vich. Tere aasu, tera dard yeh sab mainu bechaain karne lagi, mere dil ko bhaari karne lagi.' Pausing, he added, 'Shayad wahi mere pyaar di shuruwat thi.' He seemed nostalgic to remember about the moment when she first hugged him and shared her pain while he was absolutely speechless.
Veera looked at him in awe and astonishment.
