Hello everyone!
I've been a fan of Maharana Pratap for a few months- went back and watched almost all the episodes over the course of a few days! I adore Pratap, Jaiwantabai, and all the others, even Dheerbai, who through her plots, always gave Pratap more opportunities to shine!
Coming to the recent track, I'm in love with both Ajabde, and Phool Kuwar, for different reasons, of course. And reading through a lot of discussions, I'm well aware that here there's a lot of support for Ajabde, which is great!
My question is very simple: A lot of people in the forum seem to assume that Phool's marriage to Pratap is years away, while his marriage to Ajabde is going to be quiet soon- why? I know Phool was his fifth wife in real life, but her son, Chanda Singh, was Pratap's second son, born not long after Amar Singh. Furthermore, Udai Singh had more than 3 wives, but only three have been shown, with no indication of Pratap's other 20 brothers, and what 25? sisters. Clearly, the show has taken liberties, so I don't think because Phool was his fifth or sixth wife in history means she will be so in this show. Likely it might be a double marriage, or done very soon after his marriage to Ajabde. It irks me that the creatives ignore Ajabde and Pratap, assuming that their mental compatability and mutual admiration means a lack of actual physical scenes, but if the focus, long-term, is going to be on Pratap and Phool's improving relations (since, we know, unfortunately, Ajabde passes after a while), then sowing the seeds now makes sense.
Apologies for the ramble, but I go back to the original question: What is the basis of thinking that Phool's marriage to Pratap is way down the line, which Ajabde's is right around the corner?
