Pratap married Ajabdeh at the age of 17 (1557) and his first son Amar Singh was born on March 16, 1559.

Most of Pratap's marriages(Solankhinipurbai,Champabai Jhati ,Jasobai Chauhan,Phool Bai Rathore) was between 1561-1562 , to stop Rajput kings from giving their daughters hands to Akbar. This was one of the reason why Phool Kanwar married to Pratap.He married other 5(Shahmatibai Hada,Khichar ashabai,Alamdebai Chauhan,Amarbai Rathore,Lakhabai) Rajput princess for political alliances.Ratnawatibai Sister of Ajabdeh,was married after the death of Ajabdeh(Last wish of Ajabdeh ).

Ajab does not die immediately after marriage.

Pratap became Maharana on March 1, 1572 & Ajabdeh became Maharani.

After defeat in battle of Haldighati(June 21, 1576), Pratap & Ajabdeh retreated into the hilly jungles of the Aravallis.That means Ajabdeh was alive for atleast 20-25 years after marriage.
