Lot has been said (and still these topics r very hot) about Deepika being a person...some call her genuinely sweet and great at heart while others r totally of the other view stating her all that her well thought acts for image-display to get a good reflection on her fans.

I am still confused abut her...long comments cant decide much, so lets have a poll to see what a majority of IF members think, and then we can have a better idea about what most ppl actually think about her as a person.

lol really? This post is just begging for deepika haters to come here and bash her. This was unnecessary. Who cares what members here think about deepika? As she's an actress, we should care about how she performs in her movies. Ridiculous.

I did not vote, both choices don't apply.

I don't think she is genuine, humble, sweet and classy person nor is she a shrewd, fake, backstabber, cunning person. The choices are not devi or shaitan. No one is like that, most are comprised of both shaitan and devi qualities.

Her parents are definitely down to earth and humble, especially her dad for being a very successful celeb. I think the real Deepika is more like the one we saw on the KWK episode, she can be catty if she wants to and I've seen her be nice too. But is she genuine ? Not to me. Genuine to me is Kajol, Kareena and Sonam because they say what they feel. I have issues with what they say, even Kajol who I like, but I think they are more genuine.

Deepika IMO got a lot of backlash from that KWK episode, talking about her personal life and so on. So she decided to play safe and say the right things. She is not a bad person or a very good person, just a normal person who reacts badly to things that hurt her and nicely to people that are nice to her.

well my friend, this is only your perception that this thread is BEGGING deepika HATERS to come and bash her, bcoz both options r there in their full uninhibited form to give any opinion over her. Fans r most welcome to come and appreciate her, being a confused person about her, I just wanted to make a poll to have some clear picture that what other members think about it EITHER WAYS.

I very well know an actor's performance comes first, but on IF we discuss every star as a person also from BigB to madhuri sridevi & srk too...then why to stop members for not dicussing Deepika as a person. ??

hahaha are u for real? you're saying that you're the same person today as u were 3 years ago? in three years life changes. people change for the better/ worse. some grow up. deepika learned from her mistake from that kwk, and i suspect she grew up as a person too. '

you wanna talk about digs? almost every effing actor and actress under this sun has made one at least once in their life.

ya'll don't want deepika to take digs at others? cool. i guess "for once" she didn't, and now she's fake. she takes her fans on the ramp and to film fare, and she's a fake.

if you're confused about her persona for the reasons you gave, that pretty much applies to everyone in bollywood then. So why not just make this as your title:

See, people change over time. And I believe DP has as well...whether it's genuine or to play safe after her success, only she knows that. But for me, currently, she is quite genuine. And all of us, be it an actress or a common man/woman, have our bitchy moments. No one is perfect, dudh ka dhula, in every single moment of their lives.

And if Kareena can get away by saying much more bitchier stuff by "Oh she is just being Bebo" or "Oh her W*F statements are so funny" or "Oh that was so ten years ago", I believe even DP can! If people say Kareen has matured or has changed over the past ten years then the same logic can be applied to DP's nature.

Anywho, I really like her gestures towards her fans :-) So far I've only seen SRK and RS treat their fans in a special way and now DP has joined the club as well :)
